Ooh another week has whizzed by !! Where does the time go ???

I have this Dala Tilda image to show you because this was the first Tilda that I bought and she is still one of my favourites :-) I think she's just beautiful :-)

Christmas is coming ! :-)

I made this card for the Snowflakes in September Allsorts Challenge !!! Missed the deadline !!! :-( never mind it is one christmas card less to make :-) hundreds still to go !!!

I followed Dawny P's fabulous sketch on the Papertake Weekly Challenge



I put a snowflake where the sentiment should be because the backing paper has writing all over it and I thought that was enough ! :-)
I have kept this card quite simple ,, I was tempted to use ribbons and snowflake brads but quite liked it left bare :-)




The PB images were stamped and coloured with copics 3D'd and I used ice stickles for the sparkle :-) the papers are from a lovely new set of Funky Fairys Papers,,, this one is called Shabby Christmas Time It is a fabulous set with lots of papers that you can use all year ! :-) I alos used plain white card which I embossed with the cuttlebug snowflake folder :-)
The snowflakes are made using a spellbinders snowflake die cut and a couple of papermania brads to hold them together :-)

I am also entering this into the One Stop Crafts Challenge whose theme this week is Die Cuts :-)

Simon Says Dance !

ooh as soon as I saw Hazels fabulous sketch and Glitz theme on the Moving Along With The Times Challenge I just had to get out my new
Simon Says Clear Stamps HEATHER'S DANCE BALLET TAP JAZZ Lot Exclusive This is the first time I am using these and love this set !! ;-)



I alos followed the lovely colour scheme on the Colour Create Challenge who are asking for Hot Pink / Dusky Pink / Ice Chocolate and the added optional extra of pearls and swirls :-)




I chose some swirly and dusky papers from BG Eva paper pad and distressed all the edges with antique linen distress ink,, my fave colour ! I used some light brown shimmery card for layering. The image was stamped with memento ink and coloured with copics and 3D'd. I used copic glitter pen and lace stickles to glam it up a bit :-) The dancers and text were also from the same set,,, the ribbon and pearls from my stash ,,,:-)

I am also entering this into the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge whose theme is One For The Girls :-)

Hubby's B'day card ;-)

It was Ray's birthday yesterday,,, and I did have every intention of making him a card in time ,, but things just conspired against me ,,, so this is a belated one ,,, only a day late ,,,, not too bad eh !! ;-) I followed the fabulous sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge :-)



This is one of the newly released stamps from the Yummy In My Tummy collection from Magnolia :-) Chef edwin ;-) Isn't he fab ! Ray loves to cook so I thought this image would be perfect for his card :-) I am still into recycling after last weeks Funky Fairys Challenge ,,, so this card will be recycled into my friend's sons 21 st birthday card ,,,, he is a chef so this is perfect for him too :-) lol
These fabby new stamps are almost all the way across the Atlantic now and will soon be on the shelves at the Simon Says Stamp store :-)



I coloured the image with copics and plonked him on a magnolia plate:-) The papers are from Funky Fairys Papercrafts Gorjuss Gingham Collection
90 colours for £2.50 !! bargain !! I also used a little whitewash coredinations which was cuttlebugged and distressed with sandpaper.

Funky Fairys Challenge : Oodles of Doodles :-)

OOhh do you like doodling ? We have a fab theme for you on the Funky Fairys Challenge this week so get your pens out girls and DOODLE :-) The DT have made some fantastic creations for you to see so pop over to the challenge blog to see them then go and visit their blogs for more details ;-)



I have been admiring this fabulous Just Hanging Around kit for ages and it is just beautiful ! I will be making a few of these cards in various colours ! I think you could make all the stationary for a Wedding so easily with this kit! The main image is in the kit too ,, I just printed it, added some glitter with copic glitter pens on all the 'chains',, this doesn't show up very well but looks fab in real life, and added a few crystal gems.
I doodled around the edges a little bit,, I must admit I wasn't as adventurous as my fellow teamies but I wanted to keep this simple ,,,, !!!! :-)



This card was the simplest card I have ever made and I like it ! The ribbon is from my messy draw ( I must tidy that up !! everything is in knots !) I added a charm too, I thought this one looked good with the chandelier :-) The sentiment is an old Anita's one that I have had for ages and use it alot :-)

I will be hoping to sell several of these to raise money for the SPCA !! :-)

Simon Says All Stitched Up ! :-) AND Fabulous news !!

It seems many of you like a recipe, thanks to everyone who joined us last week ,,I really enjoyed coming to see all your creations,, now do you like sewing as much as 'cooking' ?? The theme this week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge is 'Sewing= Faux or Real ,, the choice is yours :-)
We have someone very special in our designer Spotlight this week ,, her name is Greta and she has recently celebrated her 11 th birthday :-) She has made a card for our challenge almost every week and her talent is amazing. I have just downloaded this template from Papertrey Inc
this one is called Card Couture. I must admit I found it a bit tricky to make as the pieces didn't seem to fit very well so I did have to make some adjustments ,,, hope it will be easier next time !
I cut the pieces out of plain white card and used Funky Fairys Papercrafts Gorjuss Gingham and It's so Distressing Vol 5. I chickened out of using real sewing and went for the easy option of Faux ! :-)




I used some images from the Yummy in my tummy magnolia set. Chef Edwin is lovely eh :-) I coloured him with copics and sat him on the cutlery,, not very comfy is it :-/ !! I used my new Martha Stewart borgder punch for the fancy edge . This one is called

I Love Anya :-)

I recently bought 3 Anya's from Bunny Zoe Crafts this is one of them and I just love this one with her cute kitten :-) Nikki who owns Bunny Zoe Crafts is sponsoring the Sketch Saturday challenge this week so I had to use one of them :-)_
To make my card I followed the fabulous sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge I am also entering it into the Basic Grey Challenge who are asking for 'Embossing'
Oops I almost forgot ! This is also for the Anyone For Anya Challenge who are asking for 'Funky Flowers' ,,, that's why I chose this funky flowery paper and embossing folder !! :-)




I used BG paper from theJune Bug pad and red coredinations which was cuttlebugged and sanded ,, I am in red mode at the moment ,,, :-) I love red/black !! :-) The image was coloured with copics and I added glitter pens here n there for sparkle ,, her eyelashes are all sparkly :-)

I missed out an element on the sketch,, there is supposed to be another bit in the top left corner but I really didn't want to cover any more of the lovely flowery paper so I left it out ,, hope thats ok !! :-)

Celebrate !!!

I made this card for the House Mouse Monday Challenge which is celebrating it's blogoversary :-) They have asked us to choose any theme from the last year. Well as I didn't find the time to join in last week and had already planned what I was going to do I thought I would do it now :-) So this is a song title ,, Celebrate by Kool and the Gang I thought it quite fitting !! :-) I also followed the sketch from Challenge 48 ;-)
I am also entering this into the Stamp Something Challenge
they are asking us to use our favourite papers or colours,,, I chose both :-)



The images is my new HM Party Ribbons and the HM Celebrate stamps which I recently bought from Simon Says Stamp,, cute eh !! :-) I coloured them with copics and 3D'd the mouse ,, added ice stickles and some red and pink gift wrap ribbons.





The papers are my favourite new Fancy Flourish set from Funky Fairys Papercrafts I also used It's so Distressing Vol 1 papers too. I know I am on the DT and you may think I am biased ,,, but truly these papers are fabulous and so convenient !! one of my fave colour combos is red/black so I chose to use them too :-)

On the sketch it said ribbon to go across the card ,, but I stamped footprints instead :-) The black fancy ribbon is from Bunny Zoe Crafts :-)

I have made this for my daughter's friend's 16th birthday,, Emma came with us to England recently and told her mum it was the best holiday she had ever had ,,, she's been to Disneyland Florida,, a Caribbean cruise etc !! BUT she preferred YORKSHIRE !!! :-) Brilliant !! lol :-)

Just Magnolia Papertake Weekly and Sophisti-cat Challenges :-)

I made this card following Bev's lovely sketch on the Just Magnolia Challenge




The image is a new Magnolia one ,, this one is called Jam Tilda from the Yummy In My Tummy Collection and will soon be available in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,, they are winging their way towards the shelves right now :-)



I coloured both this image and the one on the bag with copics and used a little copic glitter pens too ,, they're fabulous, I coloured the background paper they are sitting on with Dusty Concorde distress ink which was diluted with a spray of water. The papers are all Funky Fairys Papercrafts . I used the brand new released Fancy Flourish set and It's so Distressing Vol 1 papers

I made this gift bag for the Sophisticat Challenge which I am very sorry to say I missed their first week last week ,,, :-(
I saw a gorgeous bag made by Jacqui on her blog yesterday, incidentally she is giving hers away with some fabby blog candy :-) I followed the link to the SCS website where there ia a tutorial on how to make this. you can see the Box in a Bag tutorial here.
As you can see I did faux stitching on the card and the bag using the lovely copic glitter pens so I am also entering these into the Papertake Weekly Challenge too :-)




It was so easy to make and will definitely be making more of these in future,,, lovely gift bag eh ! The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on available in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,,, I love these :-)

Funky Fairys are Recycling :-)

I retrieved some mountboard from my local framer's bin ,, with his permission of course and made a notebook :-)



The image was a stamped image from Jo,, I love this image and am now looking for the High Hopes stamp,, soo cute eh ! I coloured the image with copics and added chalk to give him a dirty look ,, :-) the paper is a new release from Funky Fairys Papercrafts

These papers are fabulous ,, this one is called Camo
you get 70 designs for only £1.99, I think that is a fantastic bargain ! The mesh ribbon is from Bunny Zoe Crafts
and the buttons/toggle are from an old school coat of Sean's ,,, they are about 12 years old !!

I coloured the image with copics and added gorgeous COPIC Twinkling Stars markers to the jewellery etc,, these pens are gorgeous !! The papers are from My mind's Eye and coredinations.I think I might have cheated a bit here ,,,, oops,, the paw print paper I made using a paw print stamp and distress inks,, does that count as another patterned paper?? :-) I was so engrosssed in following the sketch I forgot about the recipe :-) never mind the DT will be lenient on all your entries too ,,, it is open to interpretation :-) The flowers are Prima and the sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps CAT DOG BEST OF FRIENDS Lot Exclusive Set

Fabulous Funky Spooky Papers !! :-)

Funky Fairys Papercrafts have just released this fabulous new paper download kit,,, It is fantastic let me tell ya !!It is called A lil bit Spooky
go and see it ,,,the plain papers are gorgeous and not at all spooky so they can be used any time ;-)



I made this card following becky's fabulous sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge I also followed the colour theme on the Colour Create Challenge which is Neon green/Black !! Perfect colours for halloween eh !! :-)




The scary cat image is a Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp KITTY Cat Halloween Stampers Anonymous and was in a DT pack from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp,,, no prizes for guessing what an upcoming challenge will be there then !! :-) Thanks Heidi ,,, I LOVE this stamp x x The cat was stamped using black brilliancve ink and 3d'd,, it's eyes were coloured green and a dot of copics spica glitter added for a little sparkle ;-) The background was stamped with a Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp FLOURISH COLLAGE Stampers Anonymous

The ribon is from my messy drawer and that was the last little bit of it :-( The flowers are white prima ones ,,, I coloured the black one with a copic marker and the green is sprayed with green meadow glimmer mist. all the edges of the papers and the green flower were all distressed with black soot distress ink ,,,:-) The sentiment is also from the Lil bit Spooky set ,,, you must go n check it out ,,, it is fabulous ,,, :-)

Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)

I followed the lovely layout on the Sketch Saturday Challenge for this card :-)I couldn't see who had designed it so apologies for not mentioning the fab designer :-)



I have just bought a couple of Anya stamps from Bunny Zoe Crafts,, my first Anya's !! :-)
This cute image, the flower stamp and the sentiment are all from the Hope and Grace set.


I stamped the flower image with clear emboss ink and sprinkled sparkle EP over it and heated ,,, I love this delicate effect,, the image was then coloured with copics and 3D'd onto this paper. I also used copic spica pens to add sparkle :-) The flowers are also coloured with copics and 3d's and a little ice stickles added. This fabulous paper is a new release from Funky Fairys Papercrafts called Camo Style,, it comes in 35 different colour styles and is only £1.99 !! BARGAIN !! The ribbon is from my messy drawer,,and I also drpooed a few Robins Nest Dew drops in there too ,,, adds more sparkle :-)
