Honey Bee Lovely Layers Spring Birds Die Set

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

THINGS WITH WINGS 

We're showcasing some gorgeous Honey Bee Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I used a gorgeous Honey Bee Lovely Layers Spring Bird Die Set. I love that this Spring Bird can also be a Christmas Robin! The set also comes with a flying bird, so I will be back later with a card using that one too, maybe a dove carrying a spig of holly or mistletoe instead of an olive branch ;-) 

I used a fabulous new Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Craft Tacky Mat to hold the die cut pieces in place and then simply blended with Vintage Photo and Barn Door Distress Inks. For the background I used a Simon Says Stamp Good Reading Cling Stamp, splattered with Black Marble and Gold Shimmer Inks, and a Tim Holtz Festive Gatherings branch. I finished with a CZ Designs Reverse Christmas Sentiment Strip and some May Arts Gold String. 

I love circular cards and I have to say that I love how this turned out! It's simple enough to be a mass production one too!

It’s Kerry's   last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

I made a Christmas card using a fun Paper Artsy JOFY 105 Cling Stamp Set.

I colored with Zig Real Brush watercolor pens and added a few dabs of Star Dust Stickles and a strand of May Arts Irridescent White Metallic String to add some sparkle. For the background she used Distress Inks, a Tim Holtz Merry Christmas Layering Stencil, a Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and White Embossing Powder.

For the sentiment I used an oldTim Holtz Holiday Words Die Set that is no longer available, but it's very similar to THIS ONE :-)
