Simon Says: Red White and/or Blue

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to
RED WHITE and/or BLUE

It will be Independence Day here in the United States tomorrow, there will be huge processions, Stars and Stripes flying, fireworks and generally lots of people having fun! We would love for you to join in the party by creating something using one or all of the red/white/blue colours. We will be looking forward to seeing whatever colour/s you choose to use!

This week we are showcasing some fabulous Sizzix Products. Sizzix produce a huge range of Die Cut Machines, Craft Dies, Embossing Folders and so much more, you don't have to use them to join in but if you have them we would love to see them used!

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

We are welcoming back Beulah Bee into the Designer Spotlight, you may remember she was with us last year and it is such a pleasure to have her joining us again! :-)

I made a cocktail recipe box to hold all of my fave cocktail recipes in preparation for all of the 4th go July parties!

I used a Sizzix Big Shot Plus to die cut a Recipe Box and used Fired Brick and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks to colour the background before white embossing a script design over the top.

I used a Simon's Exclusive Adult Beverages stamp set and Cheers Die to finish her Cocktail Recipe Box. Let the party begin!

arty angle ;-)

I die cut 2 small die cut circles of Darice Magnetic Sheet to create a simple magnetic closure, works perfectly!

and I made some recipe cards for the inside with tabs for Gin or Vodka based cocktails.

Everyone should try this Blue Lagoon recipe, it is very yummy ;-)

Thanks for looking!

So now it's YOUR turn to get your Red/White/Blue supplies and get your crafty on!

I am currently on vacation on the French Riviera so I will see you all next week ;-)

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #sssmchallenge so we can see your entries there too

You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Wow, Lorraine, that is such a cool recipe box! I love the colors and the textures. It looks exceptional.

I'm passing the word along in case you haven't heard that there is not a link on the SSS Monday Challenge wall for us to post our creations.
Thanks!

This would make a great gift and your decorating is really terrific. It's got a 60's retro-vibe that any Mad Men would love. And thank-you for the welcome to this month's spotlight.
