Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Summer Sunshine 

This week we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don't have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

This week we are welcoming Karin Akesdotter aka Peppermint Patty's Papercraft into the Designer Spotlight. Karin was with us several months ago and it is a pleasure to welcome her back!

I used a July 'Hello Summer' Card Kit Of The Month  and made a shaker card full of paradise ;-)

I started by creating a little background using Spiced Marmalade and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered with water and then stamped a little bikini, which I then paper pieced with pink paper and made my own little design on them ;-) 

The palm tree is from a Tim Holtz Surf Shack Die Set, a perfect size don't you think! I added some old wood dots for the coconuts and added some white metallic thread, I thought it would look a little bit like those funky light strips that you see on trees in hotels and whatnot ;-) 

and I finished the inside using bits of left over paper. This card kit is perfect to send a simple help card to a special friend, I think this set is one of my all time faves! :-)
