Funky Fairys Wedding Challenge,, something old something new ,,,, :-)

This week we have a lovely theme for you on the Funky Fairys Challenge :-) We are asking you to make a Wedding Card and include something old and something new, if you continue and use something borrowed and something blue you will get a 2nd entry into the draw !!! Brill eh !! :-)

I used a digi download image from Charmed Crafts and coloured it with copics. I wasn't going to mention this but maybe someone could put me right :-) I had chosen the image papers layout etc ,, then started colouring in the image,, leaving the wedding dress till last and I just couldn't work it out,,, she has 4 arms !! (Funky Fairy Emma said we are supposed to have 'forearms' lol !!) It was too late to make something else so I just coloured it a bit and left it at that !! I will be using this for a wedding this weekend so if anyone has any idea of how I could 'fix' it I would appreciate it ,,, am tempted to smother it with lace stickles and hope for the best !! :-)
The papers are It's so Distressing ( They re my 'old' bit they were the first papers I bought from Funky Fairys Papercrafts
I distressed all the edges with milled lavendar and dusty concord distress inks. The flowers are Prima, brads from Doodlebug and the horseshoe charm from the Hobby House.
I used my new Martha Stewart leaf punch which was a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp,,, thanks Heidi :-) x x

To enter the challenge you must use at least one item from Funky Fairys Papercrafts, there are lots of free downloads available too on the Blog of Inspiration so you can try before you buy :-) I must say I do use the 'It's so distressing kit such alot,, brilliant for backgrounds and layering especially :-)

There is going to be exciting things going on over on the Funky Fairys blogs, the Challenge blog, Inspiration blog and all the Challenge and Shop DT blogs so make sure you enter our challenge and keep an eye out for further announcements :-) I am sworn to secrecy so I can't tell ya !! :-)

The DT have made some fabulous cards for you to see so pop on over to the Challenge blog to check it out and also please don't forget to leave everyone a comment. We really do appreciate them :-)

Thanks for looking,, :-)

Beautiful card Lorraine, but very odd with the four arms, that did make me chuckle! Sorry! Not sure what you can do with that to cover it - possibly some glitter or sparkle over the whole bodice area to disguise it? It does seems a bit strange!

All the best

I love your card Lorraine & I didn't notice all her arms until you pointed it out ! Maybe she needs the extra arms to help drive the car . . . you know how rubbish male drivers can be!

Happy Wednesday,

Lou

Gorgeous card Lorraine, I never would have noticed the 'forearms' lol* I think the glitter sprinkles are your best bet.
And thanks for letting me in on the secret of how to make the baubles.
