Splitcoast Stampers Love Fest Day 3 ,,,,,

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all enjoying a nice relaxing weekend :-) 

I am keeping up with the Love Fest Event over on the Splitcoast Stampers Site, though due to time differences by the time I have made something the next challenge is already published :-)

Day 3 is hosted by Stamping Bella and the theme is ,,, ‘BRING ON THE BLING’

I used this gorgeous Stamping Bella  Baykahbella image ,, isn’t she cute :-)

I coloured the image with copics and layered and paper pieced her apron and the little pouch, slotting the spoon and spatula in there :-) The papers, hearts and sentiment are all from the Simon Says February card Kit. I used an EK Success Zig Zag punch and added star dust stickles and glossy accents here and there.

Splitcoast Stampers Love Fest Day 2 :-)

Hi All :-) I hope you have a lovely weekend planned and hope you manage to find some crafty time too :-)

It is now Day 2 of the Love fest Event over on the Splitcoast stampers website and I am trying to join in every day :-) there are lots of companies involved and lots of prizes on offer !! 

Sweet and Sassy Stamps are hosting today’s challenge and we have this fab sketch to follow

And here is my take on it

I used papers and products in the new Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit Friendship Flowers’. I LOVE the papers and stickers in this kit, I am not generally a sticker person but I love these ,,, :-) I used the flower one ,,, isn’t it cute ! :-) They are the new Daphne’s Closet pack from Lawn Fawn :-)

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then randomly stamped flowers using various colours of brilliance inks, adding a few gems in the centre of the flowers. The ribbon is Tim Holtz Crinkle Ribbon, coloured with a YR02 copic marker.

Splitcoast Stampers Love Fest :-)

Hi all :-) there is a fabulous stamping and crafting Love Fest event happening over on the Splitcoast Stampers Website and I am intending to join in every day !! :-) There are lots of fun challenges to enter and lots of fab prizes to be won !! ( keeping my fingers crossed here ,,, lol )

Simon Says Stamp is one of the companies involved and I am not going to tell you which day they are sponsoring ,,, that will be a surprise !! :-)

Anyways ,,, I am already a day late with this so I had better get a move on ,,,, :-)

The theme for day one was to incorporate items into your card that begin with the letters L, O, V, and E.

Top Tip Tuesday ,,,, Hearts/Romance, my tip,  pour a generous pile of baby powder onto a scrap of cotton, a bit of hubby's old shirt is perfect, scoop up and secure the top with an elastic band,, works perfectly as an anti static bag when using embossing powders

Happy Valentine’s Day !!  I hope you all have a lovely day and do something special :-) Ray is working so I will have to cook ,,, nothing special happening here ,,, beans on toast most likely haha :-)

I have just made this card using products in the Simon Exclusives February Card Kit.

All the dresses are paper pieced and I used a Martha Stewart Icicle Punch to make the grass ( now discontinued) but think I will invest in a proper grass punch or die in the near future :-) I also used a Simon Exclusives Party Banner Die to make the clothes line and added some White Hemptique Twine across the bottom and used glossy accents to stuck the sentiment to the twine.

Simon Says …… Joy’s ’WOW’ Photo Inspiration

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Have a Heart Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

Isn’t that GORGEOUS !!! it really is WOW in more ways than one !! :-)

We are showcasing Cuttlebug Products this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them  :-)

I was inspired by the beautiful blossom flowers on the top right and the owl, bottom left. I didn’t use and owl, but I did add a cute little bird :-)

To be honest I wasn’t sure what I was going to make when I sat down to make this. Then I thought that this fab Memory Box, Honeyblossom Sprig die resembled those flowers ,,, and a card was born :-)

I used plain White Neenah  card and some of the fab woodgrain card to make this. I die cut the flowers out of card and paper and then meticulously masked all the flowers and buds before spraying with copic W2 ink to darken the stems. I used a Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes folder  for the panel, using the woodgrain card, and then inked all the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I used pop dots to adhere the flowers and popped a little twine bow on the stem. I coloured a little Studio Calico Wood Veneer Bird using a white Galaxy Marker and added an eye with a copic multiliner pen.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped using Wet Cement Ink and I added a die cut Simon Exclusives  ‘You’ to finish
