Good Morning all :-) You know the drill … it’s Tuesday and time for a new theme on the Papertake Weekly Challenge ,,,,

I chose sketch No 65,, love this one :-)

I have just bought this fab Cosmobella stamp from Stamping Bella, she is perfect for several of my friends ! I just wish my figure was like that !! :-)

I coloured with Copics and paper pieced her top.The papers and embellies are from a Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit ,, LOVE these kits ! :-) The sentiment is from Art Impressions and I stitched all the edges on my machine.

Less Is More ,,,,,

Hi all :-) I hope you are all fit and well and keeping warm :-)

I had this card base ready with the star border  cut out since before Christmas and just waiting for something to be done with it and when I saw the fab sketch on the Less Is More Challenge I thought this would work !! 

I used a Simon Says Stamp Star Border Die and then popped some Bazzill Nightmist card on the inside. I used the same navy card and a scrap of white to cut stars using a Sizzix Star Die. I then used a Xyron machine to add glue to the white star and then sprinkled with Glitter Ritz Opaque White Glitter ,, LOVE this stuff ,,when you burnish it it really sparkles and no glitter falls off !  I added a Doodlebug Boy Boutique button and some silver twine to finish and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts ’Holiday Sayings’ clear set.

I used this very cute House Mouse ‘ Food For Thought’ image, which is available on a Joanna Sheen Unmounted ‘Hoppy Birthday’ set.

I went with CUT flowers ,, and die CUTS !! :-)

 

I coloured with Copics and added Star Dust Stickles here and there. The papers are from a Basic Grey pack ,, I think Sugar Rush but not sure, I used a Prima flower, a BG Button and some Hemptique twine. The cloud was cut using the die from a Simon Says Stamp ‘Where the Heart Is’ die set

Crafty Ribbons ,,,, Love, Romance, Anniversary Challenge Reminder :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you are all well and looking forward to a nice weekend of crafting :-) 

I have lots of catching up to do, my laptop was in for repair and now I have to reinstall all my programmes and for some reason Live Writer won't let me in !! :-(  what a palaver :-(

Anyhoo's ,, I am here with a reminder for the current theme over on the Crafty Ribbon's Challenge ,,, 

LOVE/ROMANCE/ANNIVERSARY

The lovely Ali, owner of Crafty Ribbon's is offering this fab bag of ribbons for one lucky player :-)

Ali has designed some gorgeous images, papers and ribbons, all coordinating ! FAB !! :-)

I used I Love Ewe Ribbon,

I Love Ewe Couple Digi Image 

and I Love Ewe Digi Papers

 I kept this very simple as the papers, ribbon and cute image say it all :-)  I didn't have any black flower soft so I put a little bit of white into a plastic bag and dropped a few drops of black copic ink into it ,, swished it around a bit and hey presto ,,, black flower soft ! :-)

I used a new Simon Says Stamp Large Heart Die Set  and added a black button and bow,, both from the Crafty Ribbon Store, and made a glittery heart for the cloud using a Holiday Shapes Die and Star Dust Stickles.

Simon Says Stamp Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Love is in the air and Simon Says Stamp has made it even more fun to create projects to show someone that you love them with their 2013 Valentine’s Day Release 

I was asked if I would like to join in and  create a project using something from this release to share in today’s Valentine’s Day Blog Hop !! Are you kiddin me !! WOULD I LIKE !! To be included in a hop with some of THE most well known names in crafting is such a HUGE thrill for me ,, even though I did have a few restless nights ,,, :-)

You should have arrived here from the super talented Kathy Racoosin's Blog, if not you may need to start at the beginning on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I made 2 cards to share today, I hope you like them :-)

First up is ‘Furry Kisses’,,, I have 8 cats so this image is just up my street ! I had a ‘lightbulb’ moment at 4 am a few nights ago and knew what I wanted to do,, and am quite happy with how it turned out ,, not all ideas transfer well to reality :-)

I downloaded the Ice Cream (Kissing) Cart from the Silhouette Studio and used papers and brads from the January Card Kit.  I glittered the cart using Modge Podge Sparkle and added some Star Dust stickles here and there too. The ‘furry kisses’ sentiment is in the stamp set and I used the Silhouette Cameo to write the '10 cents each' :-)

I had a lot of fun creating this next one using loads of inks, glitters and dies :-)

I used plain white Neenah Cardstock, coloured with Pumice Stone Distress Inks and then smothered with perfect pearls, so lovely and shimmery IRL ,,, that was a tip from the lovely Jennifer McGuire and it really does look silvery,I used this card for layering.

I then die cut some Simon Says Stamp White Watercolor Paper with the Falling Hearts Die and coloured with Spun sugar, Victorian Velvet and Festive Berries Distress Inks, I then sprayed a Hero Arts ‘Friends Definition’ stamp with water and ‘kissed some of the ink off the paper, it gives a lovely slightly mottled appearance.
