For my card I used my very cute Java Jumpers stamp from House Mouse, have you seen their wide eyes?? full of caffeine they are ,, lol :-) I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, I use this one such alot,, thank goodness for refills !! The papers are from Studio Calico, these are from the Autumn Press paper pack, gorgeous quality and designs. I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch and finished with Hero Hues Brown ribbon and Earth Dots. All the edges have been stitched on my machine and I added Star Dust Stickles here and there and a couple of dots of Glossy Accents on their eyes :-)

ABC Christmas V for Vintage ,,

Hi all :-) Wow ,,, lots of you are making a start on your Christmas cards now !! we had loads of entries over the last 2 weeks and hope you will all join us for this challenge too :-)

I always think of Sarah Kay images when I think of Vintage so I used this lovely Noel Joy image, coloured with Copics and I inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. I also used a Unity Postcard stamp, again I inked the edges,wrote an address and sprayed with Perfect Pearls Glimmer for extra sparkle :-). The papers are Pink Paislee Christmas papers and these have a page of small vintage Santa images, I trimmed one of these to make the postage stamp. The lovely trim was in a RAK from Vicky, thanks xx

I used an EK Success Snowflake border punch,a mixture of MS, Woodware and Do Crafts snowflake punches and a few Robins Nest Metallic Dew Drops to finish. All the edges were stitched on my machine, saves on tape ,,, :-)

I used my very cute Nellie Snellen stamp, this one is called Koetie with Squirrel, isn’t it cute :-) I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink. The polka dot paper is from Pink Petticoat and the blue base card was sprayed with a blue marker using my Copic Air Brush. I used a Martha Stewart corner punch, from a PATP snowflake border punch and I used 2 different Cuttlebug folders for the panels. The lovely scrunched white ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I used a MS Himalayan Snowflake punch and a couple of Hero Arts gems, the sentiment is from a Unity set.

For my card I used my lovely House Mouse Apple Harvest stamp. When I think of Autumn I think of Cox’s Orange Pippins, lovely english desert apples that I can’t get here, so I tried to colour these apples to look like them ,,, although they do look more like oranges !!! ,,, need more practice :-)

I coloured with Copics, added Rock Candy stickles to the apples, then inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I kept the design very simple as this is a HUGE stamp and there isn’t much room left for anything else ,,, . The papers are Basic Grey, tho I can’t remember the name of the pack . I added some green bias tape from The Ribbon Girl and a charm and twine that were a gift from America and a few green Robins Nest dew Drops to finish.

On the Totally Papercrafts Challenge we are having a bit of a shake up. I added a ribbon, button with twine and copious amounts of Star Dust Stickles to finish,, oh and a couple of drops of Glossy Accents to her glasses and some Copic Spica sparkle pen to the frames.

The Design Team arew showcasing Magnolia stamps and products this week. You don't HAVE to use them to join in but if you have them then why not use them !

For my card I used this very cute Frosty with Snowflake image, I think he is one of THE cutest snowmen around ! I stamped him with Memento Ink onto Neenah card, masked him and then stamped the Snowy Circle behind him and while the mask was still there sprayed the background with Copics ( B02 and B01) using a copic air brush, then sprayed with diamond glimmer mist, very shimmery and gorgeous IRL :-). I stamped another Frosty, coloured him very simply, cut him out, added Polar White Flower Soft to his hat and used pop dots to stick him to the card :-) The papers are Magnolia from the Fairytale pack and I added some gorgeous American Crafts Garland ribbon, a Spellbinders snowflake, glittered with Art Institute Glitter and finished with a Doodlebug Sugar Coated brad and a few Hero Arts gems. Of course I used liberal amounts of stardust stickles for extra sparkle

Well ,, another Tuesday has whizzed around and it’s time for a new theme on the Papertake Weekly Challenge !

Spooky Hues ,,,,lots of opportunity for combining challenges !! :-)

For my card I used this fab image from Kraftin Kimmie ,, this stamp is called Drucilla. I coloured her with Copics and inked the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink, the papers are Magnolia from a So Spooky pack. I used some bias tape and ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, these were coloured with a copic marker. I added a layered flower, a mix of Prima’s , a Magnolia Heart Swirl die cut, a few Robins Nest Dew Drops, these are from a Metallic Mix pack and a skull brad to finish.

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all enjoying a lazy Sunday morning, no cooking for me today we are going to a Scouts fundraising lunch ,, always yummy food ,,, not sausage and beans ,,, :-) Unfortunately it was supposed to be Al Fresco in Dwejra, a beautiful area and a World heritage site,, instead we will be in the Scouts Hut ,,, all good fun tho :-)

When I saw the theme on the Less Is More Challenge this week I just had to join in ,, this stamp arrived on Friday, my latest purchase from Simon Says Stamp ,,,,,shhh and it was PERFECT for this challenge :-)

This cute House Mouse stamp is called Olive a Party ,, this has been on my wish list for months and it finally found its way into my basket. I coloured with copics and embossed the lower edge with a bubbles embossing folder.

Now came the tricky bit ,, after seeing the font Chrissie used on her card ,, I HAD to use it too ,,,, well ,, the kids are now in Malta, so no help with computer ,, it took me HOURS to add it ,, I was watching video’s on you tube, reading idiots guides ,, well ,,, it was all foreign to me but in the end it worked and I have no idea how I did it ,,, !

I used SU Old Olive and Whisper White card ( bought from Mandi xx) I added a couple of Hero Arts pearls, coloured with a copic marker, and a few spots of Art Institute glitter for sparkle.

I made this card using the new , and oh so cute, Pickle with Present stamp. I coloured with Copics and used the Ratty Rag ( I think thats what it's called) technique to make him look furry. To do this you add a few drops of blender solution onto a bit of old towel and dab it over the image. You will need to colour the furry bits first and then colour the rest of the image in afterwards, otherwise everything will look mottled :-) I then added Polar White Flower soft to his pom pom and hat trim and inked the edges with Colorbox Chalk ink. The papers are from Pink Petticoat and I embossed a piece of plain card with a star embossing folder.I added a spotty organza ribbon from The Ribbon Girl,added a Stacking Stars star in the middle of the bow and finished with oodles of Star Dust Stickles and a few Hero Arts gems.

Hi all ,, we have a FAB theme for you this week

ACETATE !! ,,, :-)

Mel chose the acteate ,,, and there were a few grumbles from the DT ,, but a challenge is a challenge eh !! :-)

Actually, it is much easier than you might think ! packaging often used acetate ,, Spellbinders for example so you could do a bit of recycling here too :-)

Before moving onto the challenge we are having a bit of a re vamp over on the TPC and Cathy has agreed to take over the running of the challenge BIG THANKS to Cathy MWAH !!!

ALSO ,,, Sue Scoopy has returned to the fold after taking a couple of weeks off WELCOME BACK Scoopy :-)

I have recently bought some Hero Arts Acetate tags ,, perfect to use this week I thought. I recently joined in the Jennifer McGuire Inspiration Showcase online class ,, which was FABULOUS !! ( If you have never done an online class I DEFINITELY recommend it ,,, there is a new one starting soon called Holiday Boot Camp, click here for more details :-) ) anyway ,,,, Jennifer made a few fabulous creations using these acetate tags and she really inspired me to have a go too.

Acetate is difficult to photograph, so please excuse this effort, I will try to get a better piccy later when the sun is shining :-)

I placed the tag on a piece of dark blue cardstock, drew around it and cut it out, I then run the acetate tag through my Big Shot in a Swiss Dots folder, my most used folder I have to say !! LOVE it ,,, I did consider stamping a design on the blue tag but then I thought it would detract from the lovely acetate, what do you think ?I punched a few snowflakes out of plain white card using Martha Stewart punches and then glued and glittered with Art Institute Crystal glitter ( THE most sparkly glitter I found ,,,gorgeous !) I added an few Hero Arts Neutrals Gems to the centre’s and added a Hero Arts sentiment too ,, the edges of this were glittered with silver. I added some Tim Holtz Bias Tape ribbon and a Doodlebug snowflake brad to the bow at the top. I added pop dots between the acetate and card, these were hidden by the snowflakes and sentiment but does add more dimension IRL :-)

I used some new Lawn Fawn stamps, coloured with copics and popped onto the die cut tags with pop dots. The paper is Basic Grey from a Nordic Holiday pack. I added some star dust stickles, ribbon , a Martha Stewart punched snowflake and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish.

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge used this very cute House Mouse ‘Witch Way to the Candy stamp, aww Muzzy is way too cute to spook and the hat is way too big for Monica,,, bless :-)

I coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Black Soot distress inks. The papers are Authentique from the Glowing paper pack, all the edges were inked and I ran the sewing machine around the edges. The sentiment is from an Inkadinkado Mini Scary Words set.

I added a Martha Stewart spider, which is climbing over trying to get to the candy , and bat, not sure what he’s doing there,, flying in for a party !! :-) these were both highlighted with Star Dust stickles and a white gel pen, to finish I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.
