Stamp Something ,,,,,,, DIGI

WOW !! We had loads of fabulous entries to our Halloween Challenge ,, some were very scarey ,, almost scared me to death some of 'em and some were definitely TOO cute to spook ,, Tilda couldn't scare a flea could she,,, bless !!! :-)

Anyway ,, another week has flown by and it is time to get ready for a lovely weekend of crafting !!

It is now time to Stamp Something ,,,, DIGI !!
Yes ,, no ink and rubber this week ,,, turn on your computers and print an image :-)

The DT have all used digi images from various companies so lots of variety to see :-)

I was given a choice of images from the Digi Doodle Shop AND I wanted to use a stamp from their Christmas Assortment,,, so they sent me the whole set !! How nice is that of them !! :-)

I printed the image and then printed it again onto patterned paper to paper piece the box ,,, so much easier than colouring :-)) the image was coloured with copics and added a little star dust stickles on the ribbon. I decoupaged the baubles and holly too and popped them out a little with silicone glue. the flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a Martha Stewart Icicle punch and holly leaf punch and a little navy blue satin ribbon and few glimmer dots to finish.

Totally Papercrafts ,,, Stick a Number on It

OOhh we have a fab challenge for you this week on the Totally Papercrafts :-) It is Joey's turn to choose the theme this week ,,, and in celebration of her birthday which is in a few days time ,,, she will have reached the BIG 30 !! she thought we should all

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge I chose this fab JJ 5 O'clock image and sentiment. I coloured her with Copics and added pearls in her hair and glimmer dot earrings. The papers are Papermania from the Capsule Collection and I used some black card too. The flowers were made using a set of Nellie Snellen Punch and Emboss punches and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.

Simon Says ,,,,, Give Thanks !!!

For my card I followed the lovely sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge



I used my lovely Sarah Kay Time for Apple Pie image ,, this was THE first Sarah kay stamp I bought and I still love her :-) I coloured her with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink The papers are Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg ,,, I love these, perfect for Autumn :-) The flowers were made using a set of Nellie Snellen flower punches which are fab because they punch and emboss too ,, brilliant !! I also used a Martha Stewart leaf punch ,,and I added Robins Nest Dew drops in the centers. The ribbon was a gift from teamie Debby,, thanks xx and I bought this apple charm especially to use with this image :-)



I added some Glossy Accents to the apples which shows quite well on this piccy :-) the tag was cut out on my Cricut I inked it with Stormy Sky ink then edged it with Vintage Photo the leaves are stamped with Desert Sand memento ink using a Stampendous clear stamp The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set

ABC Christmas Challenge ,,, V for ,,,,,, Vertical,

We are already up to 'V' in the ABC Christmas Challenge alphabet !!

I used this Very cute Very tall Friendly Snowman image :-) It also gave me an opportunity to use my fab Spellbinders Deckled dies which have been very negelcted. The papers are a download from the lovely Martine's blog I got these last year so you may need to scroll back to find them !! :-) I used a Spellbinder snowflake die too ,,, I use that ALOT,, one of my best buys I think !! I added some Diamond Dust for icy snow and Star Dust stickles for extra sparkle. the sentiment is also from Martine's set :-) thanks Martine xx

I followed the fabulous sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, I rotated it and went a bit wrong ,, but i think it is close enough ,,, hope so !! :-)
I used this lovely Tilda With Pumpkin image that was an image from a blog buddy ,, I really need to get some Halloween stash !! I coloured the image with Copics , cut her out and popped her on a background I had made using distress inks ( brushed concord, stormy sky and black soot). Amy drew the spooky tree ( all the money for art lessons has finally paid off lol ) and the Scary Cat is a Tim Holtz (TH) stamp. The papers are from the Magnolia So Spooky Halloween set. I made the charm with black shrink plastic, White Stazon and a TH Skull stamp from the Anthology set the ticket is also made using a TH ticket die cut and stamp from the TH Odds and Ends set

I managed to fix the problems I had with editing my piccy's thanks to the help desk at Picassa ,, my camera had gone into thumbnail mode ( don't know how I managed that )!! Felt a right nit!! lol

Ok ,,, for my card I followed the fab sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge . Iused this lovely House Mouse Autumn Wardrobe stamp. I coloured it with Copics and added compulsory Star Dust stickles here and there :-) the edges were inked with Stormy Sky distress ink The papers are Basic Grey Indian Summer . The flowers are Prima, Glimmer Misted with Pearl and stickled. I also used a few mulberry leaves and some organza ribbon from my stash.

Whimsey Stamps Blog Hop + Stamp Something Challenge :-)

Woo Hoo !! I was thrilled when Denise asked me to be a Guest Designer on the blog hop for the new release of Meljen Designs Rubber Stamps from Whimsey Stamps

I am combining this hop with my DT card for the Stamp Something Challenge too ,, our theme this week is

PUNCH SOMETHING !! (am keeping my mouth firmly closed here lol)

If you arrived here from the fabulously talented Ann Vanto's blog then you're going in thr right direction ,, if not then you will need to go back to the beginning on Chris Olsen's fantastic blog :-)

I was given this GORGEOUS Holly Beary Fairy stamp to use ,,,, isn't this fab !! I do love all Melissa's designs tho ,, such a talented designer !! I just hope she likes my effort !! :-)

I decided to make an easel card and gift box. I coloured the image with Copics and used My Minds Eye Christmas paper pack. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and added star dust stickles here and there :-) I used my new EK Success border punch and the Poinsettia flowers are from Prima . I also added glossy accents to the berries :-)



I used the same MME papers for the box, cut out the tag on my Cricut , inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. I stamped the image, coloured her then cut her out and fixed her onto the tag with pop dots. The sentiment is from Hero Arts

My apologies for the photo quality ,, the programme I normally use ,, Picassa , has just changed overnight and I have no idea how that happened and can't fix it ,,, am going to change my editing programme but being a comp dunce you will just have to put up with dark and blurry photo's for a while lol :-)

I decided to make a Luminary this week ,,, the sketch I thought could work quite well if I could find some stripey paper ,,,, after a little rummage I found this from My Minds Eye ,,, a Christmas Luminary it is then !! Everything I used on this I have had in my stash for at least a year !! I made a couple of these before ,, very quick and easy to do and a lovely gift idea I think !! You can see the instuctions here I just added some punched snowfakes and glimmer dots and that was it ,, done and dusted ,,, unlike the house ,,, ugh !!

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge ,,,,,, Monochromatic

I used a Martha Stewart Icicle border punch added a ribbon and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish.

Good morning all :-) Hope you're all enjoying a weekend of crafting ,,, forget the housework !! It will still be there next week :-)

I have now officially joined the Just Cute Bears Challenge DT Woo Hoo !!!

Thw challenge is fortnightly so you have 2 whole weeks to make a card !!! No excuses !! :-)

I love baby cards ,,,, always so very cute :-)

For my card I used my lovely Penny Black Baby Hammock stamp, coloured with copics and the edges were inked with Spun Sugar distress Ink and stickled with star dust. The papers are Funky Fairys which unfortunately are not available any more . I used SU Close to Cocoa card for layering and SU Baby Boy ribbon. The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the flowers are Prima ,, I added a spray of pearls and a few single pearls to finish
