A Spoonful of Sugar and Cute Card Thursday Challenges :-)

I made this card following the fabulous sketch by MichelleO on the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge
I also tried as much as possible to stick to the colour scheme on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is Strawberry Mint Jullep ! Yum !!



This Magnolia image is a new release and is called kitchen Tilda she's lovely eh !! :-)I love her headscarf,, :-)



I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her,the chair is also a Magnolia stamp. The papers I used are from the Basic Grey Lemonade paper pad, the flowers are prima :-)I also used some robins nest dew drops to keep in with the sketch ,, and also because I like em ! :-) The sentiment is from the Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set
the gingham ribbon is from my messy drawer :-)

Papertake Weekly meets Basic Grey Challenges :-)

The theme at the moment on the Basic Grey Challenge is a beautiful 'Inspiration Challenge and we are to use this photo for our inspiration ;-)



I just think the muted pastel colours are beautiful in this photo so I've tried to choose my Basic Grey papers with it in mind,, I used papers from the Wisteria pad on my card :-)




The image is a brand new Magnolia image,, this one is called Blueberry Tilda :-) I filled her basket with flower soft tho so she has a basket of petals !!!





I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her onto an oval nestie shape that I chalked with blue and green,,, I didn't have the right colour flower soft so i coloured ivory ones with purple ink and it worked OK ,, oh and I added lace stickles to the lacy bits :-)

The mesh ribbon is from Bunny Zoes Crafts The organza ribbon is from my messy drawer,,,,!

I made this card following Mina's fabulous sketch on the Just Magnolia Challenge
and using the lovely colour theme on The Pink Elephant Challenge
who are asking us to use, red/white/black/yellow



I have just bought this gorgeous Tilda with kitten stamp,, isn't she gorgeous !



I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her head, arm and kitten, then mounted them onto a nestie oval mirror. The papers are all Funky Fairy Papercrafts downloads ,, Nana's Wallpaper, It's so Distressing and Tiny Daisies sets. Some papers are on special offer at the moment so you should go and see what bargains you can get !!

Funky Fairy's 'Tag it' Challenge

What fun we had last week !! the Funky Fun Blog Hope was fabulous and thank you to all those that hopped along :-) The list of candy winners will be posted on the Blog of Inspiration and the Challenge blog :-)

This week on the Funky Fairys Challenge we are asking for you to use a 'Tag' on your creation :-)





I used my new High Hopes stamp from Bunny Zoe Crafts
this one is called Heidi and Madison,,, very cute eh :-) I used Gorgeous Grids and Dainty Dots downloads from Funky Fairys Papercrafts
The tag was made using a Tim Holtz fragment which I coloured with alcohol inks,,, you can't really see it very well on the photo but it does look lovely !!! honest !! :-) I then used a charm die cut and stamped the sentiment, which is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set
I inked all the edges and stamped the footprints with antique linen distress ink ;-) The ribbon was from my messy drawer and the button embellies were a RAK from my DT buddy Jo

Simon Says Oriental Challenge ;-)

These cute images are from Simon Says Clear Stamps WE ARE FAMILY DOLLS Exclusive Set The fans are from the Simon Says Clear Stamps MAGNIFICENT ASIAN Backgrounds Exclusive Set The papers are from the Basic Grey June Bug pad and the flowers are Prima Cherry Blossom Vines. The images were coloured with copics and 3d'd onto the flower patterned paper. The frame was made with strips of black card which I crimped and swiped with a brilliance galaxy gold ink pad. the oriental letters are from a hero arts set.

Papertake Weekly and Mojo Monday Challenges

I made this card following the fab sketck on the Mojo Monday Challenge :-) I am also entering this in the Papertake Weekly Challenge whose theme is Angels and Fairy's

The image was coloured with copics and 3d'd onto a new blossom nestie shape. The image was masked and the background was chalked. The cloud was made using puff white embossing powder and glitter.The paper is BG euphoria paper and purple coredinations. The butterfly is a grungeboard die cut :-)

Simon Says It's Heidi's Choice !! Happy Birthday Heidi :-)

We have a very special Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week :-) It is Heidi's Birthday tomorrow HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI :-) X X X
To celebrate Heidi sent all the DT and Mina,who is in our Designer Spotlight this week, her work is fantastic ,, go and see her blog if you haven't already ,,,, you all have !! thought so !! :-) Anyways ,,,, Heidi sent us all a lovely parcel of goodies and we had to use something from it on our card. Obviously she can't send everyone a pack so Heidi chose this fabulous sketch by Iris for everyone to follow :-)



I made 2 cards so that i could show off the lovely Rachelle Anne Miller Clear Stamp Lily and Milo ENJOY THE MOMENT from Stampavie which was in my box along with the lovely decorative frame by Tattered Angels and the SU pewter frame :-) The frame is by Tattered Angels, isn't it lovely !! The flowers are by Prima and the charm is also now available in the Simon Says Stamp Store :-) The text is a Melissa Frances transfer ,,, These are fab !! :-)




My 2nd card was made using Funky Fairys Papercrafts papers these are from the Tiny Daisies and A Lil Bit of Happy kits :-) The flowers are Prima and the decorative edge is made using a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set and mounted in a SU pewter frame :-)



We have an EXTRA SPECIAL prize this week ,,, Heidi is giving loads of fabulous goodies away ,,, don't miss it !! :-)

Funky Fairys CASE it Challenge + Blog Hop

We have a really special celebratory week here in the Funky Fairys Camp :-) The 2 Funky Fairy DT's have joined together so now the Shop DT and the Challenge DT are all one big happy family :-) We are all getting to know each other and have spent many an evening together in the DT blog ,,, sharing jokes and having a celebratory tipple or 2 !! :-) lol
So without further ado,,,,

Welcome to the 1st Funky Fairy's Blog Hop to celebrate the merging of the Shop & Challenge Design Teams. We thought that we had to mark this occasion & celebrate with a "Funky Fairy" party . . . or a blog hop in this instance!

I am loving my new HM stamps from Simon Says Stamp Store,,, here's another one to show you but sshh don't tell DH !!



I made this card following a fabby sketch for the Sketch Saturday Challenge DT post application,,, so wish me luck !! they are looking for 3 new DT members so here's hoping !! :-)



This lovely stamp is called House Mouse Rubber Stamp PARTY ANIMALS HMLR1037 Hats I coloured the image with copics and distressed all the edges with dusty concorde rangers ink.
The papers are Basic Grey and coredinations. I embossed the coredinations with the birthday text folder and sanded. The mesh ribbon is from Bunny zoe Crafts The sentiment is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps WISE OWL ONCE SAID Lot Exclusive set :-)

My 'new' thing is these gorgeous new papers from Funky Fairys Papercrafts This set is called Shabby Christmas Time and is a brand new set for this year ,,, It is fantastic,,, :-) go n see it !! I think these paper downloads are just brilliant value ! :-)



I do love this HM stamp ,,,, will need to do another candy giveaway with this one soon !! :-)




I made this pillow box and gift card CASE'ing Carolyn's fabulous creation for the House Mouse Monday Challenge ( Carolyn's blog is called PMS !! what a fabby fun name !! :-) Papers/Markers/Stamps ) :-)
The theme on the Challenge is to make a gift card holder,,, The DT have made some lovely ones ,,, all gorgeous !! :-)

I am also entering this for the ABC challenge whose theme is C for Circles ,,, I have 2 on the card and 1 on the pillow box so I think they count :-)

Oops I forgot to add,,,, this is also for the One Stop Craft Challenge whose theme is Cute & cuddly,, these mice are so cute n cuddly eh ! :-)

AND the Pollycraft Monday Chellenge whose theme is Furry Friends :-) Well I even have a real life 'friend' living under my sink !! he loves it there and is probably moving his family in !!! He takes the food from the humane trap and scarpers !! :-)

Basic Grey/Sketch Saturday Challenges

I made this card following the fabulous Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)



The theme this week on the Basic Grey Challenge is a colour challenge of brown/yellow/pink :-) The papers I used are from my new Lemonade paper pad ,,, gorgeous !! :-)

I used one of my new House Mouse Stamps, this one is called House Mouse Rubber Stamp BERRIED HMJR1031 Strawberry I coloured the image with copics,,,,the strawberries are very juicy and some juice has dripped a bit onto the face of one of the mice ,,,, !! :-)



The flowers are a mixture of papermania and prima,,, all of them have been coloured with copics and distress inks, the ribbon and charm is from my stash :-)

Unusually for me I even decorated the inside !!



I just had to use this little mouse too, he's soo cute !! :-) This one is House Mouse Rubber Stamp BERRY TIRED HMF1013

All the papers, stamps and embellishments ,, including the charm are available in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,, along with millions of other products ! :-)

Doodle Palace Snorkle Girl !! :-)

I originally made a card using this Doodle Palace image a few weeks ago for a friend's hubby who owns a scuba diving business. He has it on display in his shop and a customer asked if I could make one for a girl !! Well I pointed out that he is a boy and I don't have a girl version but I could add a bikini top ,,, she loved that idea ,,, !! :-) Maybe Dee and Robin could consider making a girlie version !! :-) I coloured the image with copics,, her fur is pale grey but it hasn't photographed well ( new camera !! )

I followed the fabulous sketch by Dawny P on the Papertake Weekly Challenge I hope the DT don't mind but I did make the image a bit wonky ! the reason for this is that I accidentally put the piece underneath slightly wonky and I had to diguise it !! Sorry !!

I also followed the theme on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge which is 1 ribbon, 2patterned papers ( I embossed a pattern on one does that still count ?? :-))and 3 flowers. :-) If my embossed paper is cheating you can scrub me off :-)

The paper is HOTP Glitter Stack, the flowers are Prima and the brads are doodlebug sugar coated :-)
