Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for our Birthday Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

Easter Sunday will be celebrated on April 20th so we would like to see Easter creations or sweets, cakes, candy, chocolates etc

We are showcasing  Basic Grey Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I used Basic Grey Serenade and Hero Arts/Basic Grey Fresh Cut Raindrops Background Stamp. I also used my Silhouette Cameo Machine ,,,, brilliant invention that is :-)

I inked the raindrops stamp with Simon's Exclusive Sea Glass ink  for the background, I love this stamp and have been using it quite a lot recently :-)

Isn't that little chick adorable, and the treat dispenser, both of these designs are available in the Silhouette Studio. 

I used the Silhouette Cameo to write the sentiment too.

Now for a more 'boyish' version, don't you love this cool dude with his shades !! :-)

Simon's New 'Mother's and Father's' Release Card

I am so lucky !! the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp sent me some of the new products from the Mother's and Father's release and I couldn't wait to open them up !

I inked up some plain white cardstock using Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose Distress inks, I then sprayed with Heidi Swap Blush and Dylusions White Linen inks. The photo hasn't really captured the lovely shimmer of this ,,,, but it is gorgeous IRL :-)

I then die cut the 'Love Mum' and made several cuts of the 'Mum' and 'Heart' sections to add some extra dimension, for the top layer I used some silver glitter paper.

For the butterfly I used a script background stamp, inked with Victorian Velvet for the solid butterfly and used the same ink to colour the delicate wings. I then used a Wink Of Stella Clear Brush to give the wings a lovely delicate coat of glittery goodness :-)

Wild Rose Studio 'Squirrel on Branch'

Hi all :-) It's time for a new theme on the Papertake Weekly Challenge,, these weeks are just flying by aren't they !! 

This week we are looking for 

SPRING HAS SPRUNG !

We definitely have Spring in the air here in Gozo, the flowers are in bloom and the dreary days of winter are a thing of the past, it is beautiful here at the moment, so green and lush, but summer will be here soon and we will be living in a desert, I will be making the most of this time :-)

I used a super cute new Squirrel on Branch' image from the Wild Rose Studio :-)

The papers are from a Bluebell 6x6 Paper Pack and I also used a Bluebell Die :)
