Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Use an Arrow Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

ANYTHING GOES

We are showcasing Tim Holtz Products this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them  :-)

I was unsure about what to make for this challenge,, maybe a tag ?? but then I popped over to the Tim Holtz Blog for inspiration and GUESS WHAT !! He has a challenge asking us to make flowers using his Tattered Florals Die !!  YAY !!

Tim has a fab tutorial using his new Distress Paint’s,,, which I don’t have yet ,, he also used linen and burlap fabrics ,,, don’t have those either ,, so I had to improvise but I am thrilled with how this turned out and I WILL wear it :-)

I will link all the products I used at the bottom of this post.

I attached the flower to a chain but it is removable so I can attach it to a bag, jacket,,, anything really ! :-)  doesn’t it look FAB on my autographed Tim Holtz bag !! a treasured possession :-)

Wild Rose Studio ,,, ‘Bunny and Bee’ :-)

Hi all :-) I am here with another card from the new spring release from the Wild Rose Studio :-) This is called Bunny and Bee and is a cling stamp. Dulcie is looking to see what people prefer ,, cling or clear ,,, which is your preference ??

I will link all the products used at the bottom of this post. Just to add that the mesh is from Magenta that I have had for eons and I think it is discontinued.

Final card for the Love Fest Event ! :-)

Hi all :-) It has been a marathon week of crafting for me and I have really enjoyed it ,,, lots of fun ! :-)

The final challenge is hosted by The Greeting Farm and they have asked us to use a  die and make a love themed card.

I decided to make a Christmas card using the Simon Exclusives ‘Falling Stars’ die. I used some navy card, die cut it and then popped it on the card using pop dots, I love the way shadows are created doing this :-)  I tore strips of white card and embossed one using a Sizzix Dots Embossing Folder and glittered another with Hero Arts Prisma Glitter, and I added a strip of Washi Tape across the bottom.

I used a stamp set from The Greeting Farm, called ‘Warm and Cozy’, I coloured the snowpeople with Copics and cut them out, popping them on the snow drifts with pop dots. I added glossy accents to their nosed and black diamond stickles to their buttons. The sentiment is from a Wild Rose Studio sentiment set.

Hello Spring !! :-)

Hi all :-) Happy Tuesday !! I hope you’re all well and looking forward to joining in with our new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge :-)

This week Dawny has made us a fab sketch to follow but if you’re not keen on that one you can choose any previous one ,,, just let us know which one you used ! :)

I followed the sketch but made it rectangular instead :-)

I used the fabulous Simon Says Stamp ‘March Card Kit. I stamped the stems using Hero Arts Grass Chalk Ink. I then stamped, coloured with Copics and fussy cut the flowers. I inked the edges with stormy sky distress ink and then stitched them all on my machine, I  wrapped some twine around the card ( in keeping with the elements on the sketch ,, sort of :)) and popped the whole panel up on pop dots.  The cute little bee is a new die from Memory Box ‘Jolly Bumblebees, and the sentiment is from the stamp set in the kit :-)

I used this adorable  House Mouse Bird Bath image,, aren’t they CUTE !! :-)

I coloured with Copics and added oodles of Star Dust Stickles. The papers were all in the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit and I faux stitched all the edges ,,, forgetting the outer one,,, duh ,,,  but that has been rectified since I took the piccy :-) I used a Sizzix Lovely Flowers die and popped a Doodlebug Button in the centre.  I also used a EK Success Zig Zag punch , a Dew Drop and a sentiment to finish :-)

Wild Rose Studio ‘Wishing Well’ :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you had a lovely weekend of happy crafty :-) I received a FABULOUS parcel of stamps and papers from the Wild Rose Studio ,,, all the new releases and I have to say they are GORGEOUS :-)

I made this using this card using the Wishing Well image ,, this could be used for so many occasions ! Good Luck, Get Well Soon, Bon Voyage, New Home ,,, :-)

I coloured the image with Copics, inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Inks and added white flower soft to his cotton tail and some Mini Spring Mix Flower soft for flowers. I used paper from a WRS Flight of Fancy pack and embossed a strip of white, not sure what that design is called ?  I used a Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily Die Cut, added a few gems and made a ‘sun’ using a My Favorite Things ‘Sunshine Die’.  I used some Twine and a button  and finished with a sentiment from a new WRS Vintage Labels set.

Splitcoast Stampers Love Fest Day 10 :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you’re having a fab weekend and maybe managed a few hours of crafting :-)

I am here with my card for Day 10 of the Love Fest over on the Splitcoast Stampers Website and today’s theme is a colour challenge hosted by Verve Stamps.

Aqua / Brown and either Pink or Yellow :-)

I don’t have any Verve products so I made my card using products in the Simon Says Stamp March card Kit :-)

I used a Sizzix Lovely Flowers die and embossed the flower with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, then added a Doodlebug Button and twine. I also used a Simon’s Exclusives Mini Hearts Die and cut lots of hearts, smothering in Star Dust Stickles to finish :-)
