For my card I just had to play with my new Silhouette Cameo machine and made a cupcake shaped card :-) ,, and it does stand up,,, but I wouldn’t place it in a draught ,,,, :-) The cupcake design is from the Silhouette online store and I copied, flipped and welded to make it foldable. I used Neenah Desert Storm paper for the cupcake base, I stamped this with a Hero Arts Cling Dots stamp and Hero Hues Latte Chalk Ink and then scored lines to create texture.I used Kaiser Crafts paper for the topping, I embossed this with a Sizzix Swirl folder and then glittered all the raised bits with pink glitter. I coloured the swirly icing yellow and added glitter ,, my goodness this is sparkly ,,, and then I glittered a Monarch butterfly too,, even the No 3 s glittered ,,, too much glitter ya think ??? nah ,,,, :-) I added some Brittania Card Candi , some pink/white stripe ribbon, a button from my stash and I finished with twine.

Thanks for looking :-) Dora and the DT have all made some gorgeous creations for you to see this week so please pop over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to see them ! :-)

Hi all :-) I am back with another card using one of the gorgeous new stamps from the Wild Rose Studio :-) This one is called Bella’s Birthday, isn’t she CUTE !! :-)

I followed the fab layout on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, thanks Jo :-)

I stamped the image twice onto neenah card using memento ink, coloured with copics, paper pieced the present and layered the balloon and bow, popping these up on pop dots. I used Bella’s Papers and purple SU card for layering, for one of the panels I used plain white card embossed with a Swiss Dots folder and some yellow mesh that I have had in a drawer for ages. I added faux stitching, a heart swirl and some flowers that were a gift from Debby, some yellow ribbon and a few Card Candi dots. the sentiment is from a WRS Greetings Set and I added the compulsory star dust stickles for sparkle :-)

I used paper from Karen Foster and 7 Gypsies, a Martha Stewart border punch, some Hero Arts ribbon and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops. The sentiment is from LOTV and I finished with Star Dust Stickles :-)

My sister fell off her bike and broke a bone in her foot so she is now off work and having to put her feet up so I made this card for her ,,,

Next up is a Tea Bag Dispenser that I made using the Silhouette Cameo machine.

I downloaded the design , cut it out, stuck it together, I used a Tim Holtz Typeset Alphabet die to cut ‘TEA’ and stuck those on the front using glossy accents, I added a TH Hitch Fastener to the top to make the lid handle,, simples ,,, :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Krista Smith aka Saturated Canary so the theme is really fitting eh ! :-)

All the DT were given a choice of image and I chose this very cute Party Hardy , isn’t she cute ! :-)

I printed the image twice, coloured her with copics and inked the edges with Spun Sugar DI. I cut her out, leaving the banner and her legs in the background. The papers are from a Bo Bunny Ambrosia pack and I used purple SU card ( from Mandi) for layering. I used a Grand Calibur, Grand Circle and Grand Scalloped to cut her out. I used my Silhouette Cameo machine to cut out the banner , coloured them with copics and stamped designs on them to funky them up a bit ,, :-) I added oodles of star dust stickles, some pink vintage tape from The Ribbon Girl, to finish I cut out the star with a MFT Stacking Stars die, coloured with a copic and then sprinkled with yellow glitter.

Playtime with my new Silhouette Cameo :-)

Hi all :-) its time to take Jessie walkies so this will have to be quick ,,, she’s biting me and dragging me off my chair as we speak ,,, it is 20 past 4 so am already 20 mins late !! :-)

There is a fab online course at the mo ,, called ‘A Cut Above’ and it is going through all the things you can do with your dies and die cutting machines, Cuttlebug, Big Shot etc and the Silhouette Cameo, if you would like to join in you’re not too late :-)

I made my first card to join in with the Less Is More Challenge whose theme is ‘Charming’ :-)

I used a fab ‘Hugs’ text from Ali Edwards, this was cut out of black card on the Silhouette Cameo machine. I used a Hero Arts Eggshell Notecard for the base, I inked the edges of this with Peeled Paint DI, stamped with a Hero Arts Flourish stamp, inked with a Snow Cap paint dabber and then stuck the die cut frame with text over it, I used a Martha Stewart Burtterfly punch, coloured with Mustard Seed DI and added some gems and then doodled the antennae and flight path with a black pen. I added a little charm on a twine bow and finished by stamping the word ‘sending’ using part of a Unity sentiment stamp.

Next I made this card following the brief on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge ,,, Yellow, Pink, Orange :-)

The starting point was the flowers … I was playing with my machine and I wanted to make some flowers ,,, so I cut several using a 12x12 sheet of Tim Holtz Shabby Vintage paper and then inked them with Victorian Velvet DI. I then sprayed with water, scrunched and fixed together with a brad. The yellow card was made using plain white card, inked with the Mustard Seed ink and then brushed with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls.

I embossed the background using a Sizzix flower folder, added a Tim Holtz Elegant Flourish, made a panel using a Martha Stewart border punch, added some orange twine and used a MFT Button Quartet die to make the button.

thanks for looking ,,, time for walkies ,,, see ya later Smile

Wish I was there ,,,,,,,, :-)

Hi again :-) I am back with a card I made for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge whose theme is No Patterned Paper :-)

I have recently bought these fab London themed stamps, Miniful and The Tower Bridge so I wanted to use them :-)

I stamped the image and coloured with copics, I then inked the edges with Stormy Sky DI and glittered the edges with star dust stickles. To make the background I used the stamp resist technique, I used a Hero Arts Distressed Stripes stamp, inked with versamark and embossed with white EP. I then used several colours of distress inks to create a weird looking night sky ,, well London does have pollution and it creates all sorts of reflective colours Open-mouthed smile I then sprayed the whole thing with Lindy's Gang Long John Silver glimmer spray ,,, soo gorgeous and shimmery IRL ! I then stamped the London Bridge with Archival ink and coloured slightly with Distress Markers.

The signs are from a Unity ‘Along for the Ride set and I added a strip of ribbon to finish :-)

Thanks for looking :-) I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)
