Stamp Something ,,,,,, and Give Thanks

This week the Stamp Something Challenge will run for 2 weeks ,,, so plenty of time to join in !! :-)

It is Thanksgiving in the US next Thursday and our theme celebrates the holiday

GIVE THANKS !!

For those of us who don't celebrate Thanksgiving we will still need plenty of Thank You cards in the coming weeks !! so what better time to make a start on them !!

We are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab spree to the store for one lucky entrant !!

For my card I used a super cute House Mouse Stamp,, again,( don't yawn !!! lol )This one is in a Joanna Sheen unmounted set and I am not sure what it is called. I coloured the image with Copics and added Rock Candy distress stickles to the berries. The papers are Basic Grey , I used my new Martha Sewart Mouse Mice border punch ( LOVE this ) and some hemp twine that was a gift from America. The sentiment is a House Mouse thanks berry much one. I used some silk ribbon and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops too.

Preview of new C C Designs images :-)

My lovely friend Ria asked me if I would be her GD for the launch of these fab new C C Design Digi images that will be released tomorrow ,, and of course I said yes !! I was going to be one of the first to see them !!

This first image is called Scarf Honey and I thought she looked like a bit of a Hippy Chic so I went for a dramatic hot pink and black look :-)



I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with pink chalk ink and then stickled with Star Dust. The papers are Doodlebug and were a gift from my lovely buddy Martine :-) The flowers are from Prima and I used a silver pearl brad in the center. The ribbon was a gift from Debby and I used a heart ribbon slider and some Robins Nest Silver Dew drops for extra bling.

Next up is Honey and Teddy ,,, how cute is this !! :-)




I coloured her with a mix od Copics and Prismacolor pencils. The papers are Basic Grey Green at Heart collection and I added a little teddy brad from my charm drawer :-) the ribbon was in my stash and I added a star button and a few Robins Nest dew Drops here too ,,, I love Dew Drops ,, can ya tell ?? :-)

last but not least is this gorgeous Cool Honey ,,, she is such a trendy gal eh !



I coloured her with Copics and the papers are from the first set of Basic Grey papers that I ever bought ,, and the front fell off so I have no idea what they're called :-) Here is another piece of ribbon from the lovley Debby and the flowers are Prima and the center flower I think is from Wild Orchid Crafts but that was a gift too so not 100% sure :-) More Robins Nest Dew Drops on here too , The charm was from another blog buddy America .

The DT are showcasing WOJ stamps this week and Steph ( Heidi's right hand girl) thought she would challenge us to get our heat guns out and do some embossing too ,,, so we did !! We would love to see you use your WOJ stamps and embossing powders too this week but it is optional :-)

Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a fab spree to her store and she will pay the postal costs too :-)

Have you seen the All New Just In section ??? There is a new House Mouse Santa stamp !!!! GOT to have it ,,, sooo cute !!

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge. I used a gorgeous Wee with Reindeer, which is out of stock at the moment will be back in store soon. I love these gnomes ,, my fave WOJ stamps :-) I coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged the reindeer's front and head ,, so 3 layers and popped then on pop dots, I inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey from the Wassail paper pad. I inked all the edges of the papers with a white pigment ink pad and sprinkled with Hero Arts White embossing powder. and heated with a heat gun . I used a Martha Stewart round the page punch, a Tim Holts ticket die and a stamp from the Odds and Ends set. The flower is from a Prima Poinsettia pack and I added a few extra holly leaves from a Martha Stewart punch .I used loads of Star Dust Stickles here and there for extra sparkle. I used some mesh and some red organza ribbon from my stash.

Wow !! I think most of you joined in with our last challenge ,, at least once !! We had hundreds of entries so thank you all for playing :-)

For my card I used a lovely Popcorn Bear image. I coloured him with Copics and Primapencils The papers are My Minds Eye and the flowers are Prima and the rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a Martha Stewart Holly Punch and I made the little hanger using an oval die cut, I wrote santa ( ugh handwriting) and used a Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener :-) I used loads of ultrafine crystal glitter and Star Dust Stickles and some Glossy Accents on his nose and eye :-) the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

Good morning all,, hope all is well with you all :-) I have terrible headache and sore throat so I think i will have a rummage through the medicine cupboard in a minute and dose myself up ,,, hope it's nothing nasty like the begining of the dreaded man flu !!!

AUTUMN SKIES

I used my lovely House Mouse potpourri stamp, this one is an unmounted one which I think is smaller than the wooden version, and quite fiddly to colour , had to wear 2 pairs of reading glasses to magnify the image lol :-)
I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The papers are from a new Basic Grey Pyrus pad ,,, lovely eh !! I stamped the brown plain sheet with leaves and embossed with bronze spaekle EP. I also inked and embossed all the edges with the same powder,,, very sparkly :-) I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops
the flowers are Prima and rhe rose was in a blog candy so not sure about that one.
The ribbon is SU Chocolate Chip and you can order that from Mandi.

oohh i almost forgot to point out my new Martha Stewart Mouse Punch ,,, will go and get a close up to show you better >>>>

For my card I used a lovely Kira stamp from the Wild Rose Studio. I coloured her with Copics and inked around the edges with dusty Concord Distress ink . I am going to be honest here ,,, her legs were supposed to be skin coloured ,, but the black bled so she had to have purple leggings under her shorts :-)
The papers are a mix of Stamping Up Aubergine card, Craft Creations and Doodlebug. I use a Martha Stewart border punch and Scolloped hear punch and added a few card candies. the ribbon was in my drawer I added a ribbon slider too. The lovely charm was in a candy I won from Peggy Loves Vintage thanks Peggy :-)

Thank you all for your stunning cards for the 'White' challenge ,,,We really enjoyed visiting you all ,, I really think this challenge was brilliant and the creations were fantastic !! ,, clap clap clap to you all :-)

This week we have another fabulous challenge for you ,,,,,

PRINCE CHARMING ,,,, so any card/creation for a Male and add a charm ! easy :-)



For my card i followed the fab sketch on the Totally Gorjuss Challenge I used my lovely new stamp that is part of a Popcorn Bear Celebrate set. I coloured the image with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. The papers are Basic Grey from the Max and Whiskers paper pad and all the edges are inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink I added some organza ribbon and a Dogs Day charm, a few Robins Nest Dew drops and a bone button that was in my drawer. I made the frame using a Spellbinders die and made it into a shaker card :-) I coloured some Diamond Dust using my Copic Air Brush
it did blow them about a bit but it did work !!! I love this diamond Dust ,, so versatile ,, perfect weight for shaker cards and it makes a nice sound and perfect for icy snow,, my fave product at the moment !!

I have had this Fragrant Shower House Mouse stamp a few months and thought it was about time I inked it,, and it would fit in with this challenge ,,, that little mouse bouncing on the flower must be lovely eh to do something so romantic for his friends I
coloured the image with Copics and dotted some sra dust stickles in the flowers. The paper is from a paper pad I have had for ages and the front fell off so no idea. I do know the gems are Basic Grey and the sentiment is from a Simon says stamp exclusive sentiment set. the ribbon slider was made with a Spellbinders Ribbon Tag die and the little flowers were punched with a Do Crafts tiny flower punch.

ooh we have a terrible thunder storm here in Gozo ,,, it is blowing a gale, lightening and torrential rain ,,, hopefully i will get this posted before the electricity goes off ,,,, which it will !!

For this 1st card I used the lovely Kira stamp from the Wild Rose Studio
the Kira range of stamp are designed by the very talented Ashley Daniels



For this card i followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge . I coloured the image with copics and paper pieced her shorts. The papers are also from the Wild Rose Studio
these are from the Milton Christmas Paper pack I added a few Robins Nest dew Drops, a silk ribbon and a satin ribbon for the sentiment slider, I used a heart ribbon slider too.



the next card is made using the Kira with Kitten stamp.

I used my lovely Red Roller Racing Gruffie stamp, coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils The papers are Doodlebug and I used a Martha Stewart Happy Birthday punch too. The star is a Grungeboard element die cut and I used a Tim Holtz sprocket gear and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish
