Ray and I have just apent the last 2 days cleaning and getting the outside ready for the summer ,,, which arrived a few days ago :-) ,,, Lovely and sunny here now ,, not TOO hot yet ,,, perfect :-)

I LOVE this cute House Mouse Truffles stamp ,, it is a big one tho so not much space for much else on your card ,,, unless you maka a 8x8 one !! :-)
I inked the stamp with Rich Cocoa ink to keep everything brown :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Tea Dye distress ink I also used some clear glaze to the icing on the truffles. The papers are GORGEOUS Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby ones, perfect with this image eh !! it even has de Chocolat written on it :-) The fancy edge across the bottom is a Tim Holtz On the edge Sizzix die . The ribbon was in my drawer and the rose is Prima which I sprayed brown with my fab copic air brush system :-) I then just finished it with some flat backed brown pearls :-)



edited : I bought a box of yummy looking choccies especially for this piccy ,, and they were absolutely foul ughguh they all went in the bin :-(

Sketch and Stash Challenge , Becky's Sketch :-)

Good Morning and time for a new challenge over on the Sketch and Stash Challenge :-) becky has made a lovely sketch for you to follow, I am sure you will all like this one :-) We also like to know what your new or neglected stash is too :-)

I used my fairly new , but neglected Hero Arts Silhouette Flower cling stamp. I must admit I do love the cling ones ,, easy to use and store :-) I inked the stamp with pink chalk ink, then stamped over it with a dry script stamp, this just removed some of the ink. I then stamped it again on a separate piece of card and stuck them together to make the stalks a little longer as this is a square stamp, and covered the join with the ribbon.




The papers I think are Basic Grey, they were a RAK from a buddy so not quite sure, the flowers are Prima and I have had them in my drawer FOREVER !! I do love them tho and was just waiting for the right card to use them on :-) For the circle bit I inked a script cuttlebug folder with the same ink and cuttlebugged it :-) The gorgeous butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, I punched it in white card ,, which was coloured with the same pink chalk and then the vellum was inked, sprinkled with sparkle EP and punched too. The pearls are from Kaiser Craft.

Another House Mouse card :-)

I made this card ussing one of my lovely new House Mouse stamps from Simon Says Stamp,, this one is called Bed of Flowers and was the stamp of the month for April :-)



I followed the fabulous sketch on the Card Patterns Challenge
I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with stormy sky distress ink. I added star dust stickles to the image and Prima flower. The papers are MME and DCWV Neutrals stack for matting the sentiment is from SU. I used a Martha Stewart boder punch and SU oval punches



This card is for my SIL who is retiring from teaching at the end of this term, her fave colour is green so I had to use alot of it :-)

I am entering this into the Corrosive Challenge too whose theme is Die Cuts

I have just received a gorgeous parcel from Simon Says Stamp full of lovely House Mouse stamps and just had to ink one up :-)

This cutie is called 'Colour me Better' :-)




I followed Paula's fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)
I coloured the image with copics and added tea dye distress ink to the edges. the papers are Basic Grey from the Sugar Rush paper pad, the gems are Kaiser Craft . The sentiment is from a Wild Rose Studio set and the heart button was in my drawer.

Totally Papercrafts Multifold Challenge

I love Joy Fold cards, this is my 2nd one :-) I used my lovely Wild Rose Studio Milton with Flowers image. I coloured the image with copics and added glitter to the bouquet :-) The paper and brad are also from the Wild Rose Studio. I coloured the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink and used Prima flowers ,, glimmer misted and stickled , then curled around a skewer, these are from Simon Says Stamp :-)



Inside View ,,, maybe I should have stuck the ribbon behind the front panel or around the back !! will fix that !! :-),, we live and learn eh !



The DT have made some gorgeous cards for you to see I need to have a go at the pop up type card ,,I have never made one of those ! ,,,, next project ! :-)

WOYWW ,,, a day late !!

I am sorry I am a day late, I did take the piccy's yesterday but then a friend came and I didn't gat a chance to pop them on here :-)

my new desk arrived at 9am !! :-) unfortunately a part was missing from the box (imported from Italy) so I have to wait for the corner bit to be fixed, it will be L shaped, you can see the extra bit stuck up behind it ! I have no idea when they will get the missing part, but I am really happy with it so far ,,:-) I transferred the things from my old desk and whemn Amy came in from Skool she said ,, ' MUM it's a mess already ' !!! I thought it looked really tidy !!



I can now fit my laptop on my desk, which will be brill when following sketches :-) There isn't much work going on yet, there is a card waiting to be posted to a post pal from the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge but I need to go and get a little surprise to pop in with it.

Simon Says ,, Fathers day/ Male card Challenge

I made my card following the fab sketch on the Card Patterns Challenge



My Dad is always reading and loves a cuppa tea so this Penny Black Bibliophile stamp is the perfect image for him :-) I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd the books and added clear glaze to the cup, I coloured the edges with tea dye distress ink. The papers are DCWV Pet Stack and I found a little scrap of small paw print paper, just enough to paper piece the armchair :-) The letters are grungeboard die cut letters, coloured with copics and smothered with rock candy stickles, all these items are from the Simon Says Stamp Store, the ribbon and button were in my stash :-)

For my card I used a lovely Gillian Roberts Penguin and Tree stamp from Simon Says Stamp I coloured it with copics and added Polar white flower soft to the hat and ice stickles for snow. The light print paper I have had for ages and don't know the make. I embossed a panel of white with a cuttlebug folder. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

The thinking behind my card was ,, 'well my bags're packed and am ready to go' ! Leaving on a Jet Plane :-) A plane charm would have been perfect , but didn't have one so a boat had to do :-)
I used my lovely Happy Hopper stamp , this one is called Fancy Pants :-) I coloured the image with copics and added tiara stickles for sparkle :-) The papers are a digi download set from Nitwit Collections and the 'Bon Voyage' plate was a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp and is made by Martha Stewart :-)



I found this fabulous free suitcase template on the Mirkwood Designs site and just happened to have this SU paper and small ribbon sliders ,,, perfect I thought ! :-)
