For my card I followed Jo's fabulous layout on the Sketch Saturday challenge :-)



I used the lovely 'Make A Wish' stamp :-) I colourd it with copics and inked the edges with light yellow pigment ink and embossed with sparkle :-) I also use some twinkling H2O's and stickles on the icing :-) The papers are Basic Grey Cupcake papers and my embellies are Hero Arts gems and Prima flowers :-) the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set :-)

I made this card following Tina's fab sketch on the Stamp With Fun Challenge




I chose this lovely Easter chic, cute eh ! :-) This one is called Duncan egg :-) I am currently on an online copics course at My Creative Classroom and have been picking up some good tips ,, this was a lovely image to practise on,, don't you think the egg looks fab ,,, am quite pleased wih that !! :-)
The papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Spring CD :-)



The flower and gems are a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp. snd the brad in the center is from Wild Rose Studio and was in my lovely DT pack :-) ,,it is spotty ,, but that doesn t show up in the piccy :-(

ABC Challenge 'O' for One Paper :-)

Oh my goodness ,,, what a fantastic response we had the 'N' Challenge :-) I think we must have had a record turn out ,,, will have to check that with Vicky !! :-)

This week the theme is 'O' for ONE PAPER :-)

We are being sponsored this week by Wendy from the Secret Crafter :-) Also we are looking for a new designer to join the team ,, so if you're interested join in !! :-)

For my card I decided to get down n dirty with Tim !! :-) I love to make backgrounds using Tim Holts distress inks ,,, and also alcohol inks ,,, but is something I should do more often ,, I love the fact that no-one else will ever make the same ,, it is individual :-)

I used Dusty Concorde, Faded Jeans, Shabby Shutters and Antique Linen inks for this When I was happy with the colours of the background I used a Tim Holtz mask and then applied more Dusty Concorde ink with a blending tool to make a cool design :-) I really enjoyed this :-) FUN !! :-)




The image is ,,, can ya guess ,,, YES !! A fabulous House Mouse Stamp !!! Isn't this cute :-) This stamp was a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp ,,, she knows me well :-) Thank You Heidi :-) x x
Have you seen all the latest HM stamps ,,, Happy Hoppers and Gruffies too ???? Oh my goodness ,, they are soooo cute !! Heidi has just got them all in stock !! I NEED them all !!!!! :-) You can see them HERE :-)

Papertake Weekly Check this Out !! :-)

This week on the Papertake Weekly Challenge we have a lovely theme for you 'CHECK THIS OUT' :-) We would like to see anything with checks ! :-)
We are being sponsored by Stitchy Stamps Store all the DT were given a choice of whatever image we would like from the store ,,, I chose a set of silhouettes ,, I just thougt these were so beautiful. Amy has recently taken up ballet again and has been asked to take part in a show in Malta ,, so I thought I would give this card to her on the day of the show :-)


I made my card following Aud's fabulous sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge I just thought this sketch was perfect for the image ,,,, :-)



No colouring on this one :-) I will definitely be using these images ha ha :-)I used a Nellie Snellen oval frame using black glitter card :-) The papers are from Funky Fairys, which unfortunately is not around for the time being :-/ The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the gems from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set :-) I love their sentiment sets ,,, I use them all the time !! :-) The ribbon and ballet shoes charm are from my stash :-)

2 New Challenges :-)

I went on a little blog hop yesterday and found 3 new challenges ,,,I only managed to combine 2 of them for this card so the other one will have to wait until tomorrow :-)
I found Carol's Sketch Fun Challenge following a link from Kath's blog, so I made this card using Carol's fab sketch. From there I found the Stampotique Designers Challenge ,, it is their first week and they are asking for 'LOVE' :-)



I used this fab Stampotique image,, this one is called ,, Girl with Heart Purse :-) I coloured her with copics and inked the edges with black soot distress ink. The papers are Creative Impressions ,, I think ,,, but don't quote me :-) I also used some Black magic coredinations and a Martha Stewart heart punch. I used a little distressed ribbon and a Tim Holtz fragment tag :-)



I love these quirky Stampotique stamps ,, I know they are weird and a bit goth ,, but I think they're fab ! :-)

Sketch and Stash Challenge :-)

Did you all get a lovely bunch of flowers yesterday ?? Ray bought me some lovely red tulips ,,, beautiful :-) It is carnival weekend here so lots going on ,,, everyone gets dressed up in costumes and go out partying ,,,,:-) Sean went as Arthur Dent from the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy ,, in his PJ's and dressing gown ,,, I have no idea what Amy's theme was as she was staying at a friends house and got ready from there and wouldn't tell me ,,,,, I dread to think !!!!!

Anyway ,,, on to the challenge :-) We are being sponsored this week by Whimsey Stamps the lucky winner will get a $15 voucher to spend in their store !! Lovely eh !! to be in with a chance of winning that you need to make a card following Becky's fabulous sketch :-)

For my card I used a brand new image from the Wild Rose Studio, this one is called 'For Ewe' ,, cute eh :-)



I coloured the image with copics ,, didn't use much ink tho !! :-) The papers are also a new paper pad from the Wild Rose Studio,,, Dulcie's new designs are all gorgeous ,, if you haven't seen them click HERE :-) The sentiment comes with the stamp and I used the centre of a Nellie Snellen frame to mount it :-)



I used neglected papermania handmade shimmer paper ( yellow) and think it looks lovely on this card ,,so glad I found them under a pile of papers and a little neglected gingham ribbon ,,, :-)

Just Cute Bears Challenge :-)

Oh I missed the last Just Cute Bears Challenge ,,, along with several others that I would have loved to join in ,,, Winter Wonderland ,, Kraftin kimmie ,,,Anyone for Anya loads ,,, but time just got the better of me so I am going to try harder this week :-)

I thought I would start with the new Just Cute Bears Challenge :-) This is already their 4th Challenge and Jane
has made a lovely sketch for us to follow :-)



I just couldn't wait to ink up my new Kraftim Kimmie stamp from Bunny Zoe's Crafts ,, I love these stamps and have been thinking of getting this one since their last blog hop ,,, This one is called Dance Recital,, cute eh :-) I coloured the image with copics and added stardust stickles to the ring of flowers, shoes and copics glitter pen to her ribbon :-) I used pinkish pigment ink and sparkle EP around the edges. I don't know who made the paper,, and I only had one 12x12 sheet which has all finished now so will have to keep a look out for some more ,, I loved this one for 'ballet' , I know you can't see much of it tho ,,, which is why I used acetate so I wouldn't cover it completely :-) I cuttlebugged the acetate using a music folder which was inked with black stazon ,,,

The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set ;-)




I hope you don't mind but I missed off a couple of dots in the bottom left corner ,, they just didn't look right on the spotty ribbon :-)

Totally Papercrafts Buttons and Bows Challenge

We had a lovely response to last weeks Totally Papercrafts Challenge :-) It was lovely to see your entries and we hope you all join us again

Our challenge this week is nice and simple, we'd love to see some "Buttons AND Bows" on your creations :-)

It just so happens that Wags and Whiskers are releasing some new rubber stamps today and to celebrate there is a fun blog hop which we are delighted to be a part of :-)

The challenge prize this week, kindly donated by Nikki,from Bunny Zoe's Crafts is a gorgeous new Wags 'n' Whiskers rubber stamp....and some lovely buttons too :-) Hop over to the Totally Papercrafts Challenge blog to see them :-)

All the DT were given one of the gorgeous new images to use :-) I chose the Snuzzle Love image ,,, isn't it CUTE !! :-)



I coloured the image with copics and used a lovely Nellie Snellen Oval frame,, I do love these :-) The paper is Basic Grey ,, Euphoria paper pad I think ,,, The 'Friends tag' is a Greeting Farm stamp, the tag itself is a die cut :-) I added some lovely sheer ribbon and a heart button ,,, a few dew drops ,,, some stickles ,, and think thats about it ! :-)

Moving Along With the Times challenge :-)

I made this card following Hazel's fab sketch on the MAWWT Challenge They also have the theme Cute Companions ,,, well this little pup is very cute eh :-)





The image is another new release stamp that was in my DT pack from Dulcie at the Wild Rose Studio (WRS), this one is called 'Out and About' :-) I coloured her with copics and added a few gems and a dab or 2 of stickles for sparkle :-) the edges were inked with dusty concorde distress inks :-)The papers, sentiment and brad are also from the same WRS range. The flower is a die cut and the purle card for layering is SU :-)




Dulcie will be having a stand at the NEC Fair in Birmingham ,,, so if you go please pop by to say hello and see her lovely range of stamps, papers and embellies ,,, they are all gorgeous ! :-)

Wild Rose Studio New Release ,, are ewe ready !! :-)

I have jusy made this card using one of the Wild Rose Studio's fabulous new release images :-) This one is called Sheep for Ewe, the text stamp comes with it :-)

I followed Arlana's lovely sketch on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge :-)



I coloured the image with Prisma pencils ,, I thought I should get these out and use them more ,, I do like the more textured effect you can get on furry animals ,,, tho I do need more practise with them ,,,,, :-)
The papers are also from the Wild Rose Studio range ,, the Polka Dot is a new paper stack and the flowery swirl is digi paper from the Spring Papers CD :-) I love how the colours match perfectly ! :-) mix n match !! :-)

The flower is prima sprayed with pearl glimmer mist and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch, these are from the Simon Says Stamp Store. The brad in the center of the flower is a polka dot one also from the same new Wild Rose Studio range :-)

I masked the image ,, then stamped the Magnolia tree so it appears in the background, I coloured her with copics and added glitter here n there ;-) I used 3D glaze on the bauble and sprinled very fine glitter on it ,,, it looks realistic IRL !! :-) the papers are Basic Grey and the flowers are prima that have been sprayed with glimmer mist, the sentiment is a Hero Arts one from a set of 4,, all these products are available in the Simon Says Stamp Store :-)

I won the Pollycraft Monday Challenge last week :-) The prize was my choice of 5 of Paula from Pollycraft's fantastic images :-) I love the new Lilibean Fairys ,, so I chose 3 of those ,, and the New Moon and Star fairys ,, they are all so lovely :-) Thank you Paula :-) x x


I made my card following Martine's lovely sketch on the Basic Grey Challenge :-) I coloured the image with copics and tried a new technique ( to me ) on this ,, feathering :-) I am doing an online copic course at My Creative Classroom at the mo and this is one of the things we are learning :-) As luck would have it the Copic Creations Challenge is feather blending ,,, you can see this on her dress and on the butterfly :-)



I inked the edges with broken china and shabby shutters distress ink and added copic glitter ren here and there for sparkle ,, I also added stickles to her wings and the odd place here n there :-) I stamped a Tim Holtz swirl in the corner with beige brilliance ink,, looks berrer IRL !! I also added some Robins Nest Dew drops at the top :-) The flower and leaves were from Wild Orchid Crafts,

The papers are from Wild Rose Studio too ,, the polka dots is from a new 6x6 paper pad and the heart paper is from the Spring CD :-)The flower was made using a die cut and the brad in the center is from Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment is also from the new range of stamps :-)
