3 Times a Lady :-)

When I saw the theme on the Stamping for the Weekend Challenge I knew which stamp I HAD to use !! :-) I love these 3 'ladies' ;-) They have given us 3 song titles to choose from and I chose 3 Times a Lady by the Commodores :-)






I used my PB Sensations stamp, coloured the images with copics and 3D'd them. I used my copics gold spica glitter pen on the sheep's earrings, liquid pearls to the pig's necklace and gave the cow some diamond ear studs :-)
The swirly paper is from Papermania,,, I inked the edges of everything with distress ink. I used my new Martha Steward punch to make a fancy edge and added ribbon n flowers, a charm and gems to finish :-)

The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Exclusive Set. the stamp actually says friends forever but that made it too big so I masked the 'forever' ! :-)

I am also entering it for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge ;-) I know I should have used more swirls,,, and I did try to put some on but they just didn't work so am afraid the swirly paper is all I could do :-/

Charisma Cardz Alter It Challenge

This started life as a box of Arial washing tablets !!! I have been meaning to make a box to keep all my lovely Simon Says Stamps in ever since I saw teamie Iris's fab box ( you can see it here
)





I used SU paper and some brown/pink coredinations. The letters were cut out on my cricut. the pink card was inked with antique linen ink and the edges distressed using a stitch unpicker/cutter ,,I find these work really well. I coloured various simon Says Stamp images with copics and plonked them on the front :-) I am really happy with this and plan to make more to keep my Magnolia's, Penny Black etc etc :-)

Funky Fairy's Challenge ;-) Jilly's Sketch :-)

The theme this week on the Funky Fairy's Challenge is to follow the fabulous sketch by Jilly, isn't it lovely !! :-)




The usual rules apply, you must use at least one Funky Fairy Papercrafts image or paper download to enter :-) There are lots of free gorgeous papers to download on the Blog Of Inspiration
so you can try before you buy :-)








For my card I used a brand new paper download called A Lil Bit of Happy This set is just gorgeous and I think is just perfect for all the gorgeous angel stamps out there ! I will be using this ALOT !! :-) I also used some 'Dot's are Distressing' paper to paper piece the dots on the toadstool :-)

As you can see I used one of Janet's lovely Pink Gem images, this one is called Sprinkles on Toadstool,, gorgeous eh !! :-) I also used some Mushrooms from the Simon Says Clear Stamps MUSHROOMS GROW TOGETHER Exclusive Set!

The images were coloured with copics and I used lots of glitter :-) I LOVE glitter LOL
The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set now for those of you who haven't got this set yet, WHY NOT !! It's a fabby sentiment set,,, my fave :-)

Simon Says Summer Fruits or Fruity Colours :-)

It's time for a new theme on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge This week we are asking for 'Summer Fruits or Fruity Colours' We realise that some of you may not have any fruity stamps/images to use so fruity colours are fine too :-)







As you can see I used a new Summer Tilda image, they are flying across the pond on their way onto the shelves at Simon Says Stamp Store at this very moment !! I will let you all know as soon as they arrive :-)








The images were coloured with copics and I paper tole'd everything !! This is an 8 inch square card,, my first and maybe my last !! It took me ages to make !! :-)

The papers are HOTP and DCWV I used the last bit of my plain brown cardstock !!! :-( and whitewash coredinations that I placed in a cuttlebug folder that had been coloured with Rocket Red Brilliance ink and sent through to give a depressed image ! I really love this technique.

The butterflies are from the Simon Says Clear Stamps Butterfly BUTTERFLIES Exclusive Set!.

I followed Mina's fabulous sketch on the Just Magnolia Challenge
isn't is a lovely sketch !! I will make another smaller card using this one :-)

I am entering this in the Stamping for the Weekend Challenge whose theme is 'Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate' and also the Cupcake Craft Challenge whose theme is Blossoms and butterflies

New Summer Tilda Stamps Coming Soon To Simon Says Stamp Store :-)

I made this card using one of my lovely new summer Tilda images, I do love this set :-) they will be available very soon in the Simon Says Stamp store,,, will let you all know as soon as they arrive :-)






I followed the fabulous, easy, sketch by Heidi on the Friday Sketchers Challenge I do like em easy :-)
I am also entering this for the Papertake Weekly Challenge
whose theme is 'Favourite Things',,, I don't really have favourites, I like lots of things,, but at the moment I would say these new Tilda's are my favourite things and this colour is one of my faves blue/ turquoise,, love them ! I also like water parks and especially the Lazy River ride,, tho I do like the rapids too :-)

I am entering this for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge too. They are asking for thankyou cards for a teacher but my children are older and don't send them so I have made this as a plain thankyou card, hope you don't mind.

I am also entering this in the Stamp With Fun Challenge who are asking us to use punches

I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles glitter,, crystal for the water and lace for Tilda's top ;-) The papers are new ,,, I just bought them from my local craft shop, Binky Crafts and are new Papermania ones ,,, they are just gorgeous,,,:-). The flowers are Prima and nd punched daisies, finished with a doodlebug sugared brad.

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek :-)

The Doodle Palace Etsy store are releasing some fabulous new images on Tuesday !! This is just one of them.
I chose to use this Birthday Bear image as I needed to make a special 40th card for Tony, the co-owner of Binky Crafts, my local craft shop :-)





I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd his arms, legs and gift.The papers are all papermania and coredinations,available in Binky Crafts. I used the birthday cuttlebog folder and sanded to highlight the text :-)

I followed the fabulous sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge , the DT have made some gorgeous cards for our inspiration :-)

Joanne's 20,000 hit + 1st blogoversary candy :-)

Funky Fairy teamie and friend Joanne (Crafting Joanne)is celebrating her first blogoversary on 31st July AND having over 20,000 hits !! That is no surprise really !! Her work is fabulous and everyone loves to go and visit her to see it !!! :-) She is offfering this fabulous candy and will be adding extra's too !! Yummy :-) Please don't all enter tho !!! LOL :-)
I met Joanne a couple of months ago and will be meeting up with her again with fellow Funky Fairy Emma next month,, if I win this candy I can collect it myself Joanne LOL :-)

Well I took these photo's right now, as it is , no tidying up ,,,, well you can see that for yourselves !! Do ya like my ironing board/ craft table !!! :-) As you see mine is a multi function room, as I'm making cards Amy is usually practising guitar ,,,, lovely !!! :-) Also Gypsy kitten is usually curled up in my scrap box but she's having breakfast at the mo' :-)

Sketch and Stash + Digital Tuesday Challenges

I made this card using one of the Digital Stamp Oasis's lovely images. This one is called Sammy Squirrel eats strawberries >-) Isn't he cute ;-)
I coloured him with copics and paper tole'd him. The papers are SU and Funky Fairy's Papercrafts cherish collection paper download, I also used a little brown/pink coredinations.


The theme this week on the Digital Tuesday Challenge is Sweet Birthdays

I followed Becky's fabulous sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge we have to use new or old neglected stash,, well the strawberry charm, flower spacer and prima flowers are all new :-) They also have the optional extra of ribbons, I added a red organza ribbon :-)

Last card for today !!! :-) Promise !!

I followed Kimmi's fabulous sketch on the Stamping for the Weekend Challenge :-) Donna has also done a gorgeous sketch too which I will use to make a card tomorrow :-)




I used a new Rachelle Anne Miller stamp,, isnt she lovely !! this is the only one I have but I will definitely be getting more :-) Beautiful stamps :-)
I used Funky Fairy's Papercrafts paper from the Cherish collection and also a Bearly Mine Designs paper from my CD
I also used some whitewash coredinations :-)

The flower is made from prima ones and I used a silver centre and a heart charm,, nice eh !! :-)

I also used a couple of heart shaped and I made the hat pin decoration.

Moving Along With the Times + DT call

A friend came to visit me earlier today and asked me to make her a card for her son who will be celebrating his 18th Birthday next week :-) I can hardly believe he's all grown up ,,,he was one of my cub scouts not so long ago ,,, !!




I used a WOJ image,,, perfect for an 18th I thought !! I coloured him with copics and added a little ice stickles n he was ready to be stuck on all the layers :-)
I used some brown'khaki coredinationns and put that through the my big shot using the birthday embossing folder and sanded ;-)
I think the papers are HOTP,,, The stars and numbers were cut out on my cricut and sprayed with glimmer mist for sparkle :-)

I followed Claire's fab sketch on Moving Along With The Times Challenge The option was to use ice blue and white but am sorry to say I didn t do that :-(. When I just went to get the link I saw that there is a DT call so if anyone is interested you have to be quick !! The call ends later this evening !!

I also made this card to fit in with The Pink Elephant Challenge who has stars and strips as their challenge,,, well I do have 2 strips going across :-) ( I actually mis read it as stars and stripes until I went to get the link so if I don't qualify just scrub me off :-)) and the One Stop Craft Challenge who who has Stars and Stripes as their theme

We would like you to cut out a piece of paper and stick it onto your image instead of colouring it ! This is a fabulous technique to know especially if you make a mess of colouring and need to rescue a disaster ( yeah ok it happens to me too :-))

I do love this set,, gorgeous and so easy to use,,, easy shapes to cut !! :-) I coloured the images with copics and paper toled them :-)

I used a Tim Holtz mask to cover the red card and sponged gold brilliance ink over it, I love the effect that has,,, looks even more lovely in real life :-) The patterned papers are basic Grey from the 'Wisteria' paper pad. Gorgeous papers those ,, amongst my fave's :-) The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Funky Fairy's Lovely Recipe Challenge :-)

I used one of my new Pink Gems stamps,,,, again :-) Isn't she lovely !! :-)
I coloured her with copics, paper toled her ( new term for 3'D ing) :-) and placed her in a frame from the Doodlemental papers, perfect !! All the patterned papers are Doodlementals papers,,, very funky :-) The backing paper is it's so Distressing, I also used this as 'sky' in the frame :-)

For the embellies I used 2 buttons and a ribbon and finished with 2 punched cats :-)

The Design team on the Funky Fairy's Challenge have made some fabulous cards to show you and hoefully give you some inspiration so veist the Funky Fairy's Challenge blog to see them. Don't forget to visit their blogs and leave them a nice comment too ;-)

Wooo Hoo !! :-) I am going to be a Guest Designer on the Charisma Cardz Challenge :-)

I am sooo excited :-) Carly and the DT have asked ME to be their GD at the end of this month !! Fabby eh !! Am soo excited :-) WOOO HOOO !!!! AND I am soo organised, for a change, that I have made the cards already !!! You will have to wait until the 30th July and 6th August to see them :-)
Please put these dates in your diary and make sure you join the Challenge ,,,:-) The themes are fab !!! :-) BUT am sworn to secrecy and my lips are sealed :-)

Isn't the new Tilda Charming !! :-)

I made this card following Dawny P's fabulous sketch on the Papertake Weekly Challenge




I used a new Tilda image and added a new charm,, it arrived in the post this morning from the Hobby House, I also bought a martha stewart heart border punch :-) Will have a play with that later :-)



The Just Magnolia Challenge
are asking us to use charms :-) Just as well I bought some then eh !! :-)



The Copic Creations Challenge theme this week is Brunette hair ;-) I watched this video tutorial via a link on their website and found it really helpful. I need more practice but am quite pleased with how it looks !! :-)

The papers are Basic Grey cupcake and the sentiment is Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set,,,, again !! I do love this set !! :-) The sky is chalked with pebbles inc pastel blue, you can't really see it on the photo but it is a lovely sky really :-) I added crystal stickles to the flowers and ice stickles to the ice lolly ,,, think thats all ,,, :-)

Another Sneak Peek from Doodle Palace :-)

I made this card fopllowing Judy's fab sketch on The Sugarbowl Challenge. I flipped it to fit in with my image :-) They also ask for sparkle,, well I added quite a bit of stickles :-)

I almost forgot !! ( Well i did forget actually but remembered in time !! ) I made this for the Digital Tuesday Challenge too whose theme this week is 'Summer'

I am entering this in the Charisma Cardz Challenge too whose theme is 'buttons; :-)

I use prisma pencils and copics to colour, the papers were a mixture of Funkly Fairy Papercrafts and coredinations. I also used some patterned paper from my scrap box.
The 'hello' sentiment is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set ( as usual !! ) :-)
The sun was cut out on my cricut and the button is a basic grey one :-)

I embossed the coredinations and heat embossed the sentiment so this card qualified for the Dare U2Digi Stamp Challenge
The Cupcake Craft Challenge and the Everybody's Art Challenge have 'Summer' themes. This is my first entry for the EAC, I only found this challenge a couple of days ago. I am very sorry thet the Cupcake Craft Challenge is closing down :-( Very sad,,, this was one of my faves !

The Pink Elephant is asking is to use our fave colour combo,, well I don't have an ABSOLUTE fave cos I like purple/black and lots of others too, but brown/turquoise is one of my faves :-)

And it just so happens that the Stamp With Fun Challenge has this colour combo this week :-)

I think that's 6 challenges !!! I'don't remember entering so many with 1 card before :-)
