Simon Says Paper Piece AND Hidden Blog Candy :-)

First of all we would like to say a big thank you to all the entrants of last weeks challenge. We really enjoyed coming to see your creations using those fabby colours :-)
I would also like to say a special thanks to all of the fabulous designers over the last few weeks who have been in our 'Designer Spotlight' Thanks so much girls :-)

For this weeks challenge we decided to make it nice and easy for you, :-)

PAPER PIECING :-)

We would like you to cut out a piece of paper and stick it onto your image instead of colouring it ! This is a fabulous technique to know especially if you make a mess of colouring and need to rescue a disaster ( yeah ok it happens to me too :-))

The Design team have made some fabulous cards for you to see and to give you some ideas :-) As an added incentive we have a little mini blog hop for you !! :-) Some of the DT will be giving away blog candy on the card connected with this challenge :-) You need to find them and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning !!!

Heidi is also giving the usual $25 shopping spree to the Simon Says Stamp Store including shipping to a lucky entrant drawn at random :-)If you have facebook you can become friends with Simon Says Stamp on there too :-) Just look for "Simon Stamps".

As you can see I chose to use the fabulous Simon Says Clear Stamps WE ARE FAMILY DOLLS Exclusive Set Click on this link to see the whole set.

Would you like these ??? Well Heidi has very kindly let me have a brand new set to give away !! All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post AND enter the challenge AND become a follower !! :-)

I do love this set,, gorgeous and so easy to use,,, easy shapes to cut !! :-) I coloured the images with copics and paper toled them :-)

I used a Tim Holtz mask to cover the red card and sponged gold brilliance ink over it, I love the effect that has,,, looks even more lovely in real life :-) The patterned papers are basic Grey from the 'Wisteria' paper pad. Gorgeous papers those ,, amongst my fave's :-) The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

The Design Team have made some fabulous cards for you to see and hopefully get some inspiration. Go and see them on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog Also go and find the other yummy candy's leaving comments for the DT on your way !! :-)

I made this card following Claudia's fabulous sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge Thanks Claudia :-)

Good luck girls ( we never have any boy entrants ,,, wonder why ! :-))

Thanks for your comments I really do appreciate them and love to read them,,, boosts my confidence no end !!! :-)
