CasUal Fridays, Truth Is

 Good Morning, I hope all is well with everyone and for those that are having difficulties I am sending a great big hug XXX 

I made this card for a fellow crafter who has tragically just lost her son. 😢

A card really is a small thing, but hopefully she and her family will feel some comfort from all of the love they are being sent from fellow crafters. 

This 'Truth Is' Stamp set from Cas-ual Fridays I thought would be perfect to make a CAS card. I heat embossed the flowers and the sentiment using Versafine Ink and Clear Embossing Powder 

I used a Memory Box Dotted Curve Border but this is no longer available but it is similar to this Spellbinders Curved Borders Set 

and I decorated the envelope to coordinate.

Simon Says: Clean And Simple

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I used a Snowy Sayings Clear Stamp Set and a Funky Flakes Die Set and made a card and a simple matching envelope

I love this set, perfect for quick and easy cards! I have to post most of my cards internationally so I have to try and keep the weight below 30g otherwise it costs a fortune, this is below what so its perfect!

My all time fave icy glitter is this new Nuvo Glitter Ice White,

I tell you, it's like a blizzard in a bottle!! my new icy fave, it doesn't show up very well on photos but it looks like the snowflakes are in a deep freeze! To be perfectly honest I bought it because I liked the bottle, and now need to get the rest of the colours, they will look so pretty on my desk, and I do LOVES glitter ;-)

I even finished the inside too :-)

Simon Says ,,,, Anything Goes

I used CAS-ual Fridays'Truth Is' Clear Stamps and Technique Tuesday Say It Hello Die

I love this stamp set ! the flower is gorgeous and it also has several lovely sentiments too.  I made the background using some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, White Embossing Paste and a Tim Holtz stencil. I love that the distress ink seeps into the paste without you having to pre colour it, you don't waste any paste this way :-)

I masked the flowers and used the strip of small sentiments and a Fog Ink Pad to make the background on the tag,

I decorated the inside and used a sentiment from the stamp set. Now who shall I send this one to  ,, hmmm :-)

OOh, I just made another one this morning using the same stamps and watercoloured with Gelatos

hopefully the best is yet to come after I have had a few watercolouring lessons from Amy.. haha  :-)
