Happy Balloons

Hi all :-) I hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend! 

I just returned home after a fabulous trip to Simon Says Stamp HQ to help with the CREATE event! While I was there I had the opportunity to have a little play with the new Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress System and LOVED it! so I had to ge me one! The system comes complete with a Mini Black Ink Pad, Low Tac Tape, Cotton Paper and a Plate and Die to get you started.

This is my first play with it! If you haven't got one yet, then you do need one, they're such fun to use!! ;-)

Along with the Betterpress Letterpress System I also bought this gorgeous Happy Hooray Balloons Plate and Die Set I will definitely be using this A LOT!

For this first card I also bought a set of the Betterpress Tropical Mini Ink Pads, and used tjhose to ink up the plates. I layered with Simon Says Stamp Bright Yellow Cardstock and added a some confetti for sparkle.

For this 2nd card I wanted to see how the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks would work, and they worked great! I do like the Betterpress Inks, but the give a more bold color, it just depends on the look you want! 

I did have a bit of an oopsie, I got a little pink ink on the side, so I covered it with the sentiment ;-) The paper is from a new Lawn Fawn Favorite Flannel Paper Pad and I added some confetti too.
