Simon Says Stamp Dandy Floral

Hi all! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

This week the theme is

Emboss It 

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some of our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

This week we’re welcoming the lovely Pauline C aka Passion For Papercraft into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat! 

I made a card, for my Mum,using a Simon Says Stamp Dandy Floral Embossing Folder and Die Set. Daffodils are her favorite flower so am sure she will love this, I will, of course, buy her a big bunch of them too ;-)

I smooshed Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks over the embossing folder to add the background color and then used Hickory Smoke Ink to stamp a Sketchy Lines design onto the embossing folder before running it through my new Tim Holtz Foldaway Big Shot.

I added some color using Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness ink to the foliage and spritzed the flower with some bright and cheerful Dyan Reaveley Lemon Zest Ink Spray. I added a few sequins, a CZ Designs Reverse Mother's Day Sentiment and a few machine stitches to finish.
