Simon Says Stamp Heart Panes Cover Plate

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a fabulous 2023!!

The parcel post has been somewhat slow over the Christmas period with a few crafty parcels still en-route, but luckily a parcel of goodies from the latest Simon Says Stamp 'Hugs' release has arrived!! YAY!! :-) 

In it was this GORGEOUS Heart Panes Cover Plate and a pack of FABULOUS Mirror Ball Cardstock! 

I thought, for my first card of the year, that I would make a card for my lovely hubby :-) 

For the background I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Card Stock along with Crimson and Intrigue Alcohol Inks and Blending Solution. While the ink was still a little damp and sticky I laid a pice of silver foil over the top and gently rubbed over it to leave a residue of the foil. I love this technique as you get a different, fabulous, result every time. I added a few Pinkfresh Iridescent Color Drops and finished with a CZ Designs Reverse Love Sentiment Strip
