Simon Says Stamp Glistening Snowflakes Embossing and Die Set

In my parcel was this gorgeous Glistening Snowflakes Embossing Folder and Die Set and I made a couple of cards using it!. 

For this first one I made a fun shaker (I love shakers ;-))

I started by blending Faded Jeans, Chipped Saphire and Pumice Stone Distress Inks onto Watercolor Card Stock and then dipped the card into puddles of the colors, drying between each dipping.  I then used the die to cut out the aperture, before making the shaker. I die cu the coordinating snowflake and used Hero Arts Earth Safe Glitter to add sparkle. 

For this second one I embossed plain white Card Stock to emboss the design and then used the die cut star to pop on top. I used a little Peal Lustre Gilding Polish  to add shimmer to the raised area.
