Hi all! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
This week we would like you to join us in celebrating our 12th Birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳
Can you believe that this challenge has been going for 12 years!! The time has flown by hasn’t it! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our fellow crafters who have joined us over the years and we hope you will continue to join us!
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from the fabulous Dina Wakley. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz on the challenge blog post!
You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone!

Please pop by the challenge blog to see what our lovely guest, Estelle aka atouscrap , and the DT have made :-)
I used a Dina Wakley Scribbly Bird Cling Stamp and made a shaker birthday card.
I stamped the bird onto Watercolor Paper with Stazon Ink, then painted on a little Tim Holtz Micro Glaze in a couple of areas to act as a resist. I then colored with Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks., the balloon is a rubber stamp from Katzelkraft. For the background I made a shaker element using a Tim Holtz Window Frames Baseboard. These were in the Simon Says Stamp July 'You Shine' Card Kit but I bought an extra pack, love them!!
The papers are from a Paper Rose Watercolours and Scribbles Paper Pack (if you haven't tried Paper Rose papers before then you should check them out, fabulous quality and awesome designs!)
and I used the extra scrap of paper to decorate the envelope.
Thanks for looking :-)
So now it's YOUR turn!
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in
I use affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Any funds raised are donated to charity.
Thank You

I love your card! For the bird, was he (she?) stamped on watercolor paper? And then did you use the Distress inks with water to color? I just bought that Dina Wakley stamp set and not sure of the best way to color them. Not sure if my usual Copic style will work for them. Thanks!
Fabulous shaker card!
I really must dress up my envelopes. They look so nice, and tied in!
Hi Kirsten, I used Stazon Ink to stamp the image onto Ranger Watercolor Paper and then colored with Distress Inks. The products I used are listed in my write up and the thumbnail pics :-) Copics will work too :-)
