Simon Says Stamp Groovy Days

Woot Woot!!  A box of samples from the latest Simon Says Stamp 'Let's Chill' release has arrived in my loft!!  Thanks so much Heidi and all at Simon HQ!! 

In my box is a fabulous Groovy Days Clear Stamp Set (for which I now need to get the dies ;-) a Surf and Sand Stencil and a gorgeous set of  Detail Flat Blending Brushes, all of which I have used on todays summery card.

For the background I used the Surf and Sand Stencil along with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks. I then used a Detail Flat Blending Brush to add some Pawsitively Saturated Ocean Ink through the fine lines on the stencil, with the stencil still in place I then used some white embossing paste, picking up the leftover ink on the stencil to add some extra texture to the surf ;-)

I stamped the sunglasses with Pawsitively Saturated Rose Ink and used Ranger Pink Neon Embossing Powder to add some gloss.  For the lenses I used some groovy Holographic Card.
