Happy Die-Cember!! I can't believe it's December already! I need to get a wiggle on and start writing and sending out cards!! I am very late! I will blame the delay on my recent trip to Scotland, it played havoc with my 'jobs to do' list, but it was well worth it! ;-)
I recently received this fabulous Simon Says Stamp December 'Santa's Helpers' Card Kit and love the Craft Consortium 'Made By Elves' papers in there! There are 'pop out' decoupage sheets!! LOVE THEM!!
There are several sheets in the kit and this is the first one, very quick and easy to make!
I simply popped them out and shaped them using a Tim Holtz Tool and left them to one side while I made the background. I stencilled some Falling Snow using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then moved the stencil before adding some textured and glittered snow. I popped on a few of Lucy's Snowballs and heat embossed the sentiment.
As this card is quite deep due to the several layers of decoupage I made a box envelope to protect it in the post using a Scor-Pal Mini Scoring Board and added the leftover strip of paper to add a little interest ;-)
