I used an old Simon Says Stamp Graduation Layering Stencil Set and a new Slimline Congratulations Die

My daughter's boyfriend recently graduated from University, he now has a Master's Degree in Architecture, (clever lad ;-)) and this is the card I made for him using the graduation hood colours as the inspiration.

After blending Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade/Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers I thought that the background was a little too vivid, so I muted the colors slightly by using an overlay of vellum. I added some sequins and gems to add some sparkle and shine :-)

and I made an envelope to match

After googling, I think this is the color I was supposed to use,,, not too far off eh ;-)
