My Favorite Things, Birthday Cocktail and Birthday Cake Dies

This week the challenge is 

Use Your Favorite Technique 

We are showcasing My Favorite Things Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

My favourite Technique is foiling, there are a variety of ways to add foil to your projects, either using a foiling machine, transfer gel/glue or even applying while alcohol inks are still wet and sticky! Lots of options to add some lovely shine to whatever you make!

I made 2 cards to share today both using a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine, Foiled Frames Rectangle Metal Plates and a Hot Foil Variety Pack

For this first one I used a My Favorite Things Birthday Cocktails Die-Namics Set

I coloured the drinks with Copic Markers and added a liberal amount of Star Dust Stickles. For the Bubbles background and inside sentiment I used a Kitchen Sink Champagne Celebration Set.

You can see the foiled frame more clearly on the side view ;-) 

and I finished the inside. 

For this 2nd card I used a Birthday Cake Die-Namics Die Set  and a 'Positively Peppy' 6x6 Paper Pack 

I also foiled the CZ Designs Birthday Sentiment Strip using a Minc Foil Machine 

and I finished the inside. 

This didn't foil properly as I didn't use the right shim, you live and learn eh ;-)
