Simon Says Stamp Love Birds

Hi all and welcome to my blog!! I am thrilled to be taking part in day 2 of this fabulous Simon Says Stamp Love you and Love You Too Blog Hop Bonanza!!

You should have arrived here from the super talented Dilay Nacar's blog, if not you may want to start at the beginning on the Simon Says Stamp Store Blog

I made a card and a luminaire to share today using a gorgeous Love Birds Die

For the background I used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink and then splattered Dylusions Black Marble and Tumbled Glass Distress  Stain over the top. When it was dry I added some random script using Grey Shadow ink.  I colored the birds with Copic Markers and added a few dabs of Star Dust Stickles onto the branch. I used a CZ Designs Love You More Reverse Sentiment Strip for the sentiment. I thought the 'Wanna Snuggle' was perfect!! ;-)

The  Love Birds Die Design  reminded me of stained glass windows so I decided to make a luminarie for our Valentine's dinner table, very romantic don't ya think!! ;-)

the photo of it lit isn't great, but you get the idea ;-) It does look so much better IRL, honest!! ;-) I used some HOTP Heat Resistant Acetate and Tim Holtz Crimson Alcohol Ink to color.

Thanks for looking!! :-)

From here you need to hop on over to the lovely and super talented Misty Elam's Blog for more fabulous inspiration!
