This week we are welcoming back the lovely Alison Bomber aka Words and Pictures into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
I made a card using a Tim Holtz Texture Fades Embossing Folder, a Retro Type Bigz Die and a Tiny Type Lower Thinlits Die Set along with Distress Oxide Inks and Sprays.
I cut the typewriter from some Graphic 45 Chipboard and proceeded to dip into puddles of Peacock Feathers and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Inks, drying between color changes to prevent mud ;-) I love these colors together don't you! I then popped in some Ebony Crystal Drops into the 'keys' to add some shine, looks fab IRL! For the background I spritzed and splattered some inks and then when it was dry I used the embossing folder to ass the design and then rubbed a little Ocean Teal Gilding Polish over the top (smells lovely ;-))
I then used a scrap of paper, inked with the walnut ink and then added the Tiny Type birthday sentiment.
Thanks for looking :-)
So now it's YOUR turn!
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in
I use affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Any funds raised are donated to charity.
Thank You

This is such a fantastic birthday card! Lols. Love the fabulous embossed background and the typewriter is so beautiful! :D
I'm in love with the rusty patina you created for the typewriter and all the cogs and loops in the background remind me of when the typewriter ribbon used to come all unwound and get everywhere! Love the stitched edging too - so cool for that extra touch of texture.
