Definition: a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology.

I made a steampunk card using a Tim Holtz Robotic Thinlets Die Set and a Foundry 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder

I started by embossing a sheet of the lovely teal coloured paper from a TH Metallics Confections  Pack , its a lovely thick quality, and then sanded it togive it a more distressed look. I die cut all of the robot pieces and coloured them with various distress oxide inks, I love how he turned out! I used a Tim Holtz Marquee Die Set for the HB2U, this set is no longer available but there are lots more options to choose from CLICK HERE to see whats now available ;-)
