I love stencils, they make creating different backgrounds so much fun and there are so many fabulous techniques you can use with them!

It's Mother's Day in the UK this Sunday so I made a card for my Mum using a Tim Holtz Large Stems Bigz Die and a Bubble Layering Stencil.

I splattered the background with a few of my fave Dylusions Inks and then wen they were dry I used the Bubble Stencil and some new and oh so yummy Stamperia Glamour Gel in Sparkling White, it did pick up some of the yellow ink and turned it into a beautiful gold colour, oh I am in love! the shine and sparkle is stunning! I will definitely be ordering more colours!

and I made and stencilled and envelope to match
