Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit!

Do you subscribe to the Simon Says Stamp Card Kits? It is always such a thrill when the postie delivers mine, I can't wait to open up the box and have a good ol' rummage to see what delights are inside!! :-D 

The September kit has an absolutely gorgeous 'Look For The Rainbows' stamp set and a beautiful Tim Holtz Kalidescope 3D Embossing Folder and I used them on todays cards

I love the little birds and decided to colour them up using Copic Markers to look like robins, I then fussy cut them but have spotted that there is a die set now available so I have popped them in my shopping trolley ;-) 

I used the embossing folder to deboss the design and then splattered with Lime, Black and Tumbled Glass Inks

and I finished the inside 

The Island Blue envelope that is in the kit looks lovely with this card don't you think! all sorted!! ;-)

In the kit there is also a pack of gorgeous Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic 8x8 Papers so I made this simple card using a pinkish sheet and the embossing folder. I sanded the surface to make it look a bit more distressed and then splattered with black ink. I added a few of the Nuvo Crystal Gems to add a bit more interest ;-)
