Simon Says: Have A Heart

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

Have a Heart
Valentine's Day will soon be here so its time to start thinking about making some cards, gifts or little notes for your loved ones, spread the love!! ;-)

We are showcasing My favorite Things Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your creative makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
Please pop by the challenge blog to see what our lovely guest, Sue, and the DT have made :-)

I had ordered a super cute Tweet Friends Stamp Set to use today but I think they have caught a cruise ship rather than a jumbo jet as they are still somewhere mid Atlantic, so now it's time for Plan B ;-)

used a Cross Stitch Tag Die, a Lip Balm Window and Frame Die and a Lip Balm Shaker Pouch and made a 'Nordic' style cross stitch design shaker tag.

Now I know I should have counted the stitches before I started but I'm not that well organised but I quite like how its turned out ;-)

I didn't have a chapstick that would fit into the pouch so I just filled it with heart confetti instead, this would make a great tag to add to a gift for a crafty friend don't you think?

So now it's YOUR turn to get out your 'love'ly supplies and join in! :-)

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

You have until Wed  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

So cute. I admire the people that take the time to stitch on their projects. I love that you thought of a new way to use the lip balm pouch!

This is cute. You have to work with what you have sometimes and this worked out well. I love the little confetti hearts. [Bunny]

Lols this is gorgeous! I love how you've turned the pouch into a shaker, it actually looks nicer than with a chapstick in xx

I love everything about this!! I love the stitched hearts you created. It's details like that that really take a card (or tag) to another level. I'm glad you finally got the Tweet Friends set! That's too funny that they turned out so similar. This isn't the first time that's happened to us! I still have the 2nd card I made for the Stencil It challenge sitting in my drafts folder!! LOL Hey, I think we have great taste!!

Wow! I love this tag! Honestly, just like Mistu said above. It is so nice to see how we can stretch our supplies. What I really love is how you sew hearts on it. Pretty neat and very inspiring! Have a beautiful day, dear Lorraine. xx Ankita
