The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your creative makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!

Please pop by and see what our super talented guest Wendy and the design team have made,,, gorgeous stuff!! They are all such an inspiration and I am learning such a lot from them!

I went with Alcohol Inks and Drinks! For those of you who know me I am quite partial to a glass or 3 o' red, I quite like white too and I have been known to enjoy a few beers, cocktails, etc so this challenge was just up my street 😜

I made a couple of birthday card using White Yupo Paper,  Crimson and Dandelion Alcohol Inks and a little Blending Solution.  I simply dropped a few drips and dabbed them with a blending tool until I was happy with the 'look'

I used an Alcohol-Lift Ink Pad and a Wine Blueprint Stamp to create the design, remember to dab the ink off and then give it a gentle rub over with a cloth to remove the ink.

I also altered a wine glass and made it into a candle holder by dribbling the inks and then adding some Platinum Glitter Dust for lots of sparkle.

For the sentiment I used a 'Happy' from a Tim Holtz Holiday Words Die Set  and then scribbled a Black Copic Marker over a scrap of the Yupo and used the Alcohol-Lift Ink Pad and a bithday stamp to finish.

I was going to splatter inks and stitch the edges and whatnot, but quite liked the look of this simple design so stepped away from my desk and let it as is ;-)

and I finished the inside using a CZ Designs Happy Hour Stamp Set and a Perforated Flaps Die

I will pop some cash in here before sending the card ;-)

The photo's really don't give this glass justice! I am thrilled with this! I just dribbled the inks down the glass and then when it was still tacky I rolled it in the glitter. I dabbed some glue around the top and dipped the rim into the puddle of glitter. When it was dry I sprayed it with hairspray to seal it.

so romantic don't ya think!! Perfect for a special Valetine's night dinner! ;-)

Thanks for looking!

So now it's YOUR turn to get creating!

Love that you did the double with the inks AND the drinks! The wineglass looks fab - that sweep of glitter is amazing - and I think you were right to leave the simplicity of the card to speak for itself.
