Simon Says: Christmas

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

Christmas
Christmas will soon be here so lets try to get everything we need to make covered this week!

We are showcasing Creative Expressions Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your creative makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
Please pop by the challenge blog to see what our lovely guest Maaike and the DT have made :-)

I love the emboss design and highlighted the raised areas with a little Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and then added some prisma glitter to the little dots and starry areas.
I then glittered up some snowflakes and popped them behind the sentiment.

I think this would look fabulous in a variety of colours, don't you!

and I finished the inside by embossing the card and then running it through the big shot again to flatten the design a little bit.

for the envelope I inked the embossing folder and laid the envelope on top to give a subtle design look.

So now it's YOUR turn to get out your Christmas stash and join in!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

You have until Wed  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Hi Lois! Your Christmas card is very pretty, inside and out! The font on your sentiment perfectly complements the embossing pattern. Thanks for sharing with us at Cards In Envy Challenge; and Merry Christmas!

I love the soft ink blending you did on the embossed panel! So beautiful. So gorgeous. Also, the glitter snowflakes look so beautiful around the framed sentiment. So nice to see a break from the red and other traditional colors with this elegant design! xx Ankita
