I made this card to send to a special friend using a Tim Holtz 3D Lumber Texture Fades Embossing Folder, a Simon's Exclusive Thanks and Leaves Clear Stamp Set and Thankful Die
The stamp set and beautiful Butterfly Adornment were in the November Card Kit, which has sold out, but the items are available to buy individually.
I used Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks to color the paper and then splattered with Black and Gold Sprays. When it was dry I used my finger and some Gold Gilding wax over the top. Looks so lovely and shimmery, and I love the smell of the wax too ;-)
and I finished the inside using a woodgrain cling stamp and Clear Embossing Ink to leave a watermark effect, I added a sprinkling of Gold Powder around the edges to add a little more interest.

What a wonderful card! I really like the structure of it a lot and how the framed-out portion is circular. I also adore your incorporation of gold, which adds such an elegant touch. This is absolutely rustic done right!
