This week we are welcoming the lovely Tenia Nelson, aka Jazzy Paper Designs into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited Tenia's blog before then you are in for a real treat! Please bop by to say 'Hi' and leave some love!
I made a Christmas Tag using a Thinlits Tag Die Set, a Festive Scribbles Tree and a super cute Simon's Exclusive Retro Deer Die.
For the background I used Alcohol Inks, Translucent Yupo Paper, Alcohol Lift Ink and Sparkles and Christmas Cling Background Stamps.
Now all I need is a wrapped gift to add it on to! ;-)
I made a Halloween Tag first but forgot to check to make sure that the products were available, unfortunately this die set has been discontinued but I thought I would show it anyway. I jsut love thee alcohol inked backgrounds and I think the Translucent Yupo Paper is perfect for ghosts! Something like these could be used to make a great spooky garland!!;-)
Thanks for looking!
So now it's YOUR turn to get creating!
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

So glad I stopped by or I would have missed tag #2--love them both! Yupo is really cool and I use it to make stencils. Your garland idea is a good one.
Lols, the Christmas tag is beautiful with the alcohol ink background and the little deer is just the cutest with his red nose! The Halloween one is fabulous, the ghosts look amazing and the spooky background is just amazing. Love your tags! Hugs, Anne xx
Yay for the purple and black Halloween! Nicely done tags!

Wow! Both are great! I love their backgrounds, what a cool effect of using alkohol inks. Lovely deep colors! Hugs, Macarena
Love the fresh, fun look of the Christmas tag - the alcohol inks really give it a glow... and it's a really spooky glow for the Halloween tag - amazing swirls in the background.

Two lovely tags and I love that the one is for Christmas and the other for Halloween, it showcases Tim's dies perfectly ~ even if the halloween ones were discontinued, lol! Hugs xx
gorgeous tags Lols, love the Christmas one with that adorable reindeer and wow your ghostly goings on are spooktacular, hugs kath xxx
Whoa! An adorable Christmas tag! And a bonus Halloween tag! I loved seeing two holidays represented so perfectly in one post. I have to tell you that it is because of YOU that I bought Tim's Scribbles and Splat die (you did something really cool with it on a card one time), so I loved seeing how you used the scribble tree here from that set and how nicely you combined it with the Simon deer. The Halloween tag is great as well and I love your crowd of ghosts!
Both tags are gorgeous, Lols. The background colors and those holiday elements are awesome! :)
These are wonderful Lols! I love the backgrounds you created and the little deer is so cute. I was sorry to see that that ghost die was discontinued too. I like those ghosts and they are friendly enough not to be too scary for the kids.
Both tags are awesome!!! The one with the ghost is AMAZING!!!! love love love!!!
Gorgeous tags, Lols! Fabulous effects with the alcohol inks! Hugs, Sandra
