Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
This week the challenge is
Anything But A Card
We are showcasing My Favorite Things Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Please pop by the challenge blog to see what our lovely guest, Thi, and the DT have made :-)
Cross Stitch used to be a hobby of mine so it was lovely to pick up a needle and Embroidery Floss again and make these tags!! I have to say, I love them and will definitely be making more of these!
I used the partial die cut technique, ie, hang the lower edge of the die over the edges of the cutting plates and then moved it down a bit to elongate the tags.
I actually bought several lip balms, there are 10 pouches in the pack so I fully intented to use them all. However, I now know that not all lip balms fit into these pouches! I have a bag full of Nivea to prove it ;-) My advice would be to take a pouch with you to the store and check to see if they will fit, these are Blisteeze and they are a perfect fit. To make them look a little more festive I wrapped them in scraps of Christmas paper ;-)
I am going to make up 'Pamper Hampers' with lotions and potions and used these to decorate the baskets for my family and friends, I am so excited!!! I am sure they will love them!!
So now it's YOUR turn to get out your crafty supplies and join in!!
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.
You have until Wed 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Oh I also bought two regular lip balms but they didn't fit into the pouches . Instead I had to use mini lip balms which are actually samples, lols. MFT should have made larger pouches and matching dies. >.<
Love how you placed pouches on one side of tags. It made them look like real retail products . Lovely gifts!♡
