Good Morning all!
Yesterday I shared THIS CARD using the fabulous October 'Sketched Flowers' Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and today I thought I would have a play with the Gina K printed toner images and foils that were in the kit too.
I used a Heidi Swapp Minc Machine to add the foil to the designs, for this first one I used the red and gold foil
I coloured with Copic Markers and added some gold string and a few sequins.
For this 2nd one I used the red and gold foil too.
I made a mistake on this one and didn't cover 'The Sectet To having It All' sentiment with foil, thinking that I would do the gold foil first and then send it back through the machine with a different foil. However the machine melted the sentiment so I had to print some text using my laser printer and do it again, you learn from your mistakes eh ;-)
I had somehow got dirty markes onto this print so I decided to cut them separately and make an alcohol ink background
I used the Yupo Paper and Alcohol Inks that were in the kit, ie Sunshine Yellow and Sunset Orange and then inked up a Simon Leaves Background Cling Stamp with the Alcohol Lift Ink to create the design. I am sitting on the fence with this one. I can't make up my mind whether I like it or not, leaing towards the 'not' but I thought I would share it anyways, warts an' all ;-)
