Simon Says: Use More Than One Stamp

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

Use More Than One Stamp 

We are showcasing Honey Bee Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I used Penny the Platypus!Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set  to make a card and matching envelope for a very special young lady. 

Penny has been a very popular choice among the DT this week! 3 of us chose her! ;-) 

I stamped and cut Penny 3 times to create a collage/3D look and coloured Penny with Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils and splattered the background with Dylusions Inks.

I added a couple of strips of Washi Tape, one is from a Tim Holtz Deco Pack and the other is an older one and I can't remember who made it, but I have quite a selection of Washi Tapes and think you can never have too much! I love it! 

I love her googly eyes, isn't she a cutie ;-) 

I used this photo of a Platypus as my 'model' and thought her bill looked a bit purplish in colour so I went with that, just in case you were wondering whats going on ;-) 

The night before I made this card there happened to be a Wildlife Documentary about Platypus by David Attenborough on the telly, so interesting to watch and what a coincidence! Definitely worth watching if you have a few mins ;-)
