Simon Says Stamp 'More Spring Flowers'

As you know Simon Says Stamp hosted a blog hop yesterday to showcase their latest 'Best Days' release and guess what! there is another one today!! On all of the stops along the way YOU could win a $25 voucher!!

I was part of yesterdays Blog Hop and didn't manage to get this card finished in time to add it to the line up so I am posting it now. It is a variation on a theme f one I posted yesterday CLICK HERE to see that post  ;-)

I recently saw a Tim Holtz video where he used Alcohol Inks and then stamped with Grey Archival Ink over the top and then used a cloth to remove the colour, it gives a beautiful ghost like effect and I really wanted to try it!  I used a flower from the set and a text stamp to create this effect.

I then used a Swirls and Dots Stencil and Blending Solution to add some more interest, isn't it pretty!

For this card I white heat embossed the flowers onto Vellum and coloured them from the back using copic markers and I used Memory Box Oval Dies to make a narrower and more delicate frame than the one I made yesterday.

I love the delicate look of this, so pretty don't you think!

and I finished the inside

CLICK HERE or on the pic to see the whole new release!!

If you make any creations using products from this release please upload them into the Best Days  Gallery on the  Simon Says Stamp Blog.

There are galleries for all of the releases and card kits, so if you have any to link please go ahead and add them!
