I was so lucky to find these adorable Sweet Elephants and Blooming Wave Dies in my parcel.

I made 3 cards to share today, this is a long post so you might like to go and grab a coffee before scrolling down ;-)
I was so lucky to find these adorable Sweet Elephants and Blooming Wave Dies in my parcel.
I cut the elephants out of Fog Grey Card Stock and Cotton Candy for the baby's ear. I love how the Blooming Wave die created a flower garden and I simply coloured them with copic markers and added a few dots of glitter and iridescent jewels.
I added a white felt cloud and silver heat embossed the sentiment.

Next up is a Birthday Card using the same Sweet Elephants and Blooming Wave Dies. This time I added a Big Balloon and used the flowers to pop on the paper randomly.
For the sky I used a cloud mask and sprayed using a Copic Air Brush.

For my next card I used a lovely 'Even More Spring Flowers Stamp Set' and Coordinating Dies .
I recently saw a Tim Holtz video where he used Alcohol Inks and then stamped with Grey Archival Ink over the top and then used a cloth to remove the colour, it gives a beautiful ghost like effect and I really wanted to try it! I used a flower from the set and a text stamp to create this effect.
I used Yupo Paper and Dandelion and Coral Alcohol Inks
I then used a Swirls and Dots Stencil and Blending Solution to add some more interest, isn't it pretty!
As it is Mothers Day this Sunday in the UK I made this card for my Mum ❤️ Love and miss her such a lot XX
I white heat embossed the flowers and coloured them with Abandoned Coral and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.
I used a Simon Stitched Oval Die Set to create the frame and popped some vellum into the aperture.

Adore those baby elephant dies! The inside of the first card would make a great gift for any mother-to-be using a "thank you" sentiment instead of the cute "congratulations" you used. Filing your card away for future inspiration!

Lorraine, you are so creative! I have gone through the hop in order and you are the first to use the wavy dies at all and to use them as a field of green and to use the wreath of flowers and a field of flowers -- really beautiful and creative! And I absolutely adore your artsy Loft, I just have to say! I like what you did with the alcohol inks too -- I first used them a gazillion years ago when we "made" them using Stampin' Up reinker and rubbing alcohol and shiny card stock, I'm so thrilled they're back in "style" and SO MUCH easier to use now!
