Hi all, I am here to share a card I made using a new Curious Cats Stamp Set from Visible Image. These are a new range in the Simon Says Stamp Store and being the owner of 7 cats (plus a couple more who think they live here) I couldn't resist this set!

I started by inking a craft sheet with Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks, spritzing with water and then smooshing a pice of Watercolor paper around in it, dipping and dabbing here and there. I then sprinkled with a few granules of 'A Bit Jaded' Infusions and spritzed heavily with water. Blotting off a lot of the colour, but leaving a subtle design behind.
I then ironed the paper to make sure it was very dry before heat embossing the face and whiskers using black pigment ink and clear embossing powder.
I used a torn strip of vellum to add the sentiment and used a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher Stapler to hold it in place and finished with a few Studio Katia Marmalade Sequins
and I finished the inside. I used part of a sentiment from Visible Image that is currently unavailable in the store but hopefully it will be in stock soon.

If it wasn't for the color of the background, which I think is fabulous, I would have thought it was a real cat looking at me. The sentiment is perfect and perfectly placed on the torn vellum. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cat card with us at Addicted to CAS.
