Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are inviting you to use Maura's fabulous Icy Inspiration Mood Board!

This week we are showcasing products from Paper Artsy, if you have some of their products we would love to see them used but it isn't necessary to join in with the challenge.

Our lovely teamie, Maura, has created this fabulous mood board to use for our inspiration.

This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Valerie-Jael aka Bastelmania into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog before then you should head on over there for a browse! her blog is fabulous!

I used a fun Jofy 48 'Let It Snow' Cling Stamp set to make a card. This upside down snowman really makes me smile every time I see it 😁

I used Soft Navy Card Stock for the base card and simply stamped the snowflakes using Simons super creamy White Pigment Ink Pad. 

For the main panel I stamped the cute snowman and masked before blending a combination of faded Denim and Crushed Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered with water and when it was completed dry (I ironed it to make sure) I heat embossed the snowflake background. 

For the snowy ground I tore a strip of card and smothered it with Grit Paste. When it was dry I wrapped around some linen, I thought this resembled the soil on the pic with the snowman,,,, ;-) 

and I finished the inside.
