Simon Says: Christmas

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Christmas

We are showcasing Penny Black Products this week! You don't have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have some we would love to see them used!

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Ann Greenspan into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited Ann's blog before then you are in for a real treat! Please pop by to say 'Hi'!

I used an 'Endearing Design' Stencil and made a couple of CAS cards, perfect for posting! ;-)

For my first one I blended ink through the stencil using Evergreen Bough Distress Ink and then stamped some script text using a Golden Glitz Ink Pad. I mounted this onto Bazzill Gold Card Stock

For the berries I used Ruby Red Liquid Pearls

For my next card I randomly stamped the gold script before using Embossing Paste through the stencil

For both cards I heat embossed the sentiment in gold onto vellum

So now it's YOUR turn to get out your Christmas crafty supplies and join in!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

You have until Wed  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

I don't think I knew that Penny Black made stencils - you have chosen a gorgeous one, Lols, and I love both cards! I love the added script!

Both cards are beautiful, Lorraine. I love the softness on the gold card and the script background. You've been a busy girl, making two cards.

They are both so pretty Lols. I didn't know they did stencils so I must check them out. The random stamped script looks lovely. Sending hugs x

Thanks for playing along with us at Winter Wonderland. Two lovely cards but if I had to choose my favourite would be the second one. Good luck and we hope to see you again soon. Christine DT x
