Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

STAMPtember® is a very special month in Simon's calendar and this week we are celebrating with a stamping challenge!

Stamp It

 this week we are asking you to use a stamp, no digi images allowed.

We are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don't have these supplies yet we would like you to use Simon's Exclusive Products if you have them. This isn't necessary to join in with the challenge but we would appreciate it.

We are welcoming the lovely and super talented Carol Harper aka Carol Stamps into the Designer Spotlight this month. If you haven't visited Carol's fabulous blog before then now is the time to drop by to say 'Hi' and leave her a lovely comment.

I love the new Ornate Background Cling Stamp and thought it would make a lovely backdrop for some  awesome 'Under The Sea' creatures

I used watercolour paper ad white heat embossed the design. I then blended Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks over the background and then spritzed and splattered with water. 

For the fish I used Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Oxide Inks and then heat embossed with black ink and clear powder. 

I was going to use my Fuse Tool to create the shaker but then thought I would simply sew around the edges to give it a more 'artsy' look ;-) 

and I finished the inside. I stamped the ornate design with fog ink and picked up some of the excess oxide inks that were left on my craft mat.

After I made this card look what arrived in my loft, a We R Memory Keepers Sewing Machine! Woot Woot!!
 I have been wanting one of these since they were released and as my craft room is mint green I had to have one in this colour. If you need me you will find me sewing in my craft room, get ready for everything to be stitched now ;-)
