Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to add stars to your project.

It's Written In The Stars

I decorated a page in my Dyan Reaveley Small Creative Journal. I started by covering the pages with Gesso, closing the page then opening it while it was still wet to create a textured surface, this is a technique the lovely Macarena used quite often and I copied ;-) 

Once the gesso was dry I blended a combination of Broken China, Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves Oxide Inks over the top. I did cut some stashed stars our of vintage text paper and used Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey to colour those. 

I then used a Simon's Exclusive Mosaic Stars Stencil and some Embossing Paste to add Texture, before this was dry I sprinkled some Prisma Glitter over the top and then used a selection of Spray Inks over the whole page to create a distant galaxy. 

I used a Seth Apter Die for the circles, I heat embossed with silver powder and while it was still hot I stamped a design into the molten powder. I spritzed the stars with black ink and the text almost disappeared do I stamped some text in white and then embossed with clear powder. 

I added a couple of planets, some more little stars and made the sentiment using Darkroom Door Alphabet Stamps
