Simon Says: Heavy Metal

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to add metal to your project. This can either be a metal charm, element, string or metallic embossing etc.

Heavy Metal 

you can use metal embellishments for example, charms, or metallic embossing powders, card stock, foils etc.

It is Carol's last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous creations over the past few weeks! It has been a great pleasure having you along with us!

I made a Christmas tag using a Dear Santa Stamp and Stencil Dylusions Set along with Silver Metallic Card, Silver String, Sparkle Dust, Deco Tape and a snowflake charm to add some heavy metal!

I started by inking a Tim Holtz Die Cut Tag with Iced Spruce and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. I then used the stencil that came with the stamp set, and some Embossing Paste to add the textured design before sprinkling with Prima Glitter. When this was dry I splattered with Lindy's Gang Sassy Sapphire Spray I then sprinkled some 'A Bit Jaded Infusion Stain' and spritzed with water. I love the effect this gives, very artsy ;-) 

I used the stencil, the Broken China and the Jaded Stain to create some wrapping paper. I now need to buy a gift to wrap! Naught or Nice, what will it be ,,, hmmmm ;-)

As you can see from this arty angle I went over the 'tinsel' with a Silver Metallic Pen
