A lovely parcel arrived a couple of days ago with some new products from the latest Simon says Stamp 'Cherished' Release.
In it was a fabulous 'Big Perfect Shapes' Stamp and Die Set that I thought would be perfect for backrounds and even to use as a focal point of a project. I only used the stamp set on this card and I also used a new Eyelet Arch Border Die
I used Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks to stamp the circles and then splattered them with water and black ink.
I saw a lovely card on Michelle Bala's blog where she had used a twine bow and cherries clipped on with a clothes pin and I CASED her idea ;-)
I finished the inside with corresponding distress inks and used one of my fave sentiments from a Stamping Bella 'Amanda Is Awesome' stamp set
